    Mrs Rhodes

“65 Lower Maen Cottages is a beautifully appointed house which exceeded our expectations in comfort and character.”

Its position on the estate gives lovely views through the trees to the beach. Our ages ranged from 10 to 87 and it was enjoyed by every one of us.

The property

Within the prestigious Maenporth Estate, 65 Lower Maen is a smart, comfortable house on two levels with long, lovely views over the landscaped gardens to the sea and coast.

Perfect for a family or friends.

It is spacious and elegant, with a ‘New England’-style open-plan living-dining room and kitchen.

Step through the French windows on to the sunny patio, enjoying those lovely views – perfect for al fresco meals or sundowners.

At this level there is a WC.

Head up the stairs to three bedrooms – a king-size double with sea views, TV and en suite shower-room, a twin, and a bunk room; also the family bathroom.

At no extra cost there is a large indoor heated swimming pool (50’ x 23’ x 3’3” to 6’6” deep), jacuzzi, sauna, table tennis, pool table and two tennis courts in 30 acres of landscaped gardens with large BBQ area, woodland walks and children’s play area, all for your use.

The sandy beach and excellent restaurant are about 5 minutes’ walk down a steep hill; dinghy park available.

An excellent, warm and comfy all-year-round base for walking, leisure activities and lovely gardens.

But if you want to venture further, the lively, nautical town of Falmouth with its maritime museum is nearby.
