    “The apartment was very well equipped/clean and a nice welcome gesture of flowers and a cream tea.”


    However we felt that the property was in need of re decoration,the furniture was shabby/bulky and could do with being replaced.This included the furniture in the bedroom which was also very dated The TV was placed high on the wall,this made for uncomfotable viewing and could only be viewed properly from the 2 seater sofa,to add to this there were long trailing wires hanging down which you had to negotiate to reach the bookshelves/storage heater. The photographs gave an impression that the sea may be viewed whilst sitting on the patio,this was somewhat correct but only if you stood up and went to the balcony rail. The balcony was unswept/weeds growing through the slabbing/old poor quality patio furniture.I actually weeded and swept the area to make it more acceptable to sit out on. The bathroom had obviouly had a half hearted make over but had cracked tiles in shower enclosure.There was no blind at the window..I had to hang towels to provide this.The shower lacked pressure The key safe neede to be replaced as it was quite difficult to get key out and replace. We have stayed in many holiday apartments and this one was not of the high standard we would have expected

The property

This property is just a short stroll from Maenporth Beach and just three miles from Falmouth.

The beach at Maenporth is great for all the family, it has a beach café for refreshments and water sports equipment can be hired.

The town of Falmouth has a plethora of shops and restaurants as well as the maritime museum, the town is famous for its maritime history.

You enter the communal front door and take two short flights of stairs to the entrance of the property.

Walk the scenic coast path to Falmouth or Helford Passage, or follow a leafy footpath inland to the pretty village of Mawnan Smith.

Trebah and Glendurgan sub-tropical gardens are within three miles and Falmouth's challenging golf course is two miles.

As an alternative to self catering, enjoy a hearty lunch, evening meal, or a light snack in the top rated Cove Restaurant and Bar.
