The property

Little Hendra is a cute little hideaway deep in the woods containing all you need to get away from everything and just relax surrounded by nature and magnificent views.

Warm, cosy and with all mod cons, within moments you can be surrounded by woods and nature or take a short drive to the beaches on either coast, Little Hendra makes a perfect quick getaway or a longer break to unwind in the countryside.

Step inside and be greeted by a warm, rustic feel, allowing you to unwind after a day exploring the sights.

This open-plan living space offers a delightful kitchenette for you to prepare picnics and breakfasts to be had at the dining table.

Then you can relax in front of the TV or enjoy a quiet read of your favourite book out in the garden, welcomed by a sun-filled sky.

There are two bedrooms to retire to at the end of a long day of walking; the double is minimalist in design and the bunk room is ideal for the kids.

Outside, the large garden offers a fruitful orchard and a lawned area for the children to run around with their four-legged, furry friend as you watch on by with a replenishing drink in hand.

You are close to many popular attractions in the area such as Cardinham Woods which are across the valley - lovely forestry commission woods - UK's.

Lanhydrock, The Eden Project, Fowey and Lostwithiel foremost mountain bike centres, also in the valley is the National Trust's Lanhydrock House by the famous river Fowey.

Guests often use Little Hendra as a base to visit The Eden project and as Eden Sessions accomodation, asthe Eden Project is only a short drive away.

Both coasts, south or north can be reached within 20 minutes drive.

Nearby beaches include Polzeath, Polkerris, Fowey and Padstow Wind breakers, spades or camping chairs are happily provided by the owners.

Explore the ruggedness of the moors and the spectacular Fowey Valley, which is made up of rich farmland and flourishing meadows, an ever-changing landscape with many ancient towns to visit such as the beautiful town of Lostwithiel, less than 10 minutes away.

Bodmin, the one-time County Town of Cornwall with its narrow streets, shops and pubs, is perfectly placed for exploring all that this fabulous holiday area has to offer. The outstanding surf, rugged cliffs and hidden coves of the north coast beaches and the quieter sands and river estuaries of the south coast are both 15 miles away while on the edge of town is the fascinating museum and haunting presence of the old Bodmin Jail. The popular Camel Trail for cyclists and walkers also winds its way through the town on its journey to the sea at Padstow. Close by are the open spaces and wind swept grandeur of Bodmin Moor while the incomparable Eden Project (11 miles), Falmouth’s National Maritime Museum (30 miles) and the beautiful harbour town of Padstow with its famous pubs and restaurants (16 miles) make for great days out. Also within easy reach and ideal for a fun-filled day out, guests can visit Lanhydrock House, the small town of Fowey and Charlestown with its Tall Ships, The Eden Project and Lostwithiel. There is a good choice of country pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area.
