Jasmine And Foxglove Cottages

Tucked away in a rural location on the edge of the picturesque Bodmin Moor rests this delightful pair of cottages, wonderfully converted from former farm buildings. Stretching over three acres of generous grounds boasting scenic fields and woodland, Bellasize Farm Cottages offer an idyllic base for a retreat to the countryside. Both dwellings are stone-built and feature charming rustic character, decorated with exposed wooden beams and original stonework, comfortably accommodating up to eight guests in a warming and homely setting. Each of the holiday cottages are fit with an amply-equipped kitchen alongside a snug sitting room and dining space, both benefiting from a shared front garden with furniture, offering the perfect sociable space for a group celebration. Beautifully-maintained gardens envelop the cottages, where guests are welcome to roam at their leisure, with access to a delightful paddock leading to a tranquil river, where fishing is permitted providing a permit has been obtained. The town of Bodmin is within easy reach, containing all of your amenities, additionally you are an earshot away from the Trago Liskeard Outlet. Bodmin is home to an abundance of historic landmarks; be sure to take the time to visit the intriguing Bodmin Jail Attraction for a spooky experience, admire the breathtaking Berry Tower and study artifacts at Bodmin Keep! Excursion enthusiasts will benefit from the array of walking and cycling trails available; we recommend Cardinham Woods, where you can view beautiful sights, before enjoying tea and cake at the on-site café. Bodmin has also been named as the ‘cycle hub’ of Cornwall, boasting the Camel Trail, a coastal route that is perfect for a sunny, family bike ride. If you prefer a bit of adventure, be sure to check out Cornwall Outdoors for an exhilarating day of family-friendly outdoor adventures and watersports! Travel a little further to the ancient stannary and market town of Liskeard and visit an array of independent shops selling local specialties, before enjoying fine dining at the local-favourite, Tapenades. Whisk your loved ones away on a rural retreat with a stay at Bellasize Farm Cottages.

About the location

BODMIN

Lostwithiel 6 miles; St. Austell 13 miles; Padstow 16 miles; Newquay 21 miles.

Bodmin, the one-time County Town of Cornwall with its narrow streets, shops and pubs, is perfectly placed for exploring all that this fabulous holiday area has to offer. The outstanding surf, rugged cliffs and hidden coves of the north coast beaches and the quieter sands and river estuaries of the south coast are both 15 miles away while on the edge of town is the fascinating museum and haunting presence of the old Bodmin Jail. The popular Camel Trail for cyclists and walkers also winds its way through the town on its journey to the sea at Padstow. Close by are the open spaces and wind swept grandeur of Bodmin Moor while the incomparable Eden Project (11 miles), Falmouth’s National Maritime Museum (30 miles) and the beautiful harbour town of Padstow with its famous pubs and restaurants (16 miles) make for great days out. Also within easy reach and ideal for a fun-filled day out, guests can visit Lanhydrock House, the small town of Fowey and Charlestown with its Tall Ships, The Eden Project and Lostwithiel. There is a good choice of country pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area.
