The Lizard peninsula is classed as an area of outstanding natural beauty and it is there is much opportunity to get out and enjoy all that the area has to offer.

Protected by the National Trust, a stop at Mullion Cove is a must as is a visit to Roskilly's Farm and ice cream parlour.

Between Gunwalloe and the harbour town of Porthleven sits Loe Pool, the largest freshwater lake in Cornwall.

Situated on the Penrose Estate which is now owned by the National Trust, there are public footpaths all around Loe Pool.

There are many attractions in the area including Poldark Mine, Flambards Theme Park and the National Seal Sanctuary at Gweek.
