Next to a working farm, on the outskirts of the village of North Petherwin, near Crackington Haven.The barn conversion offers three bedrooms, including a master king-size double bedroom featuring a TV with a DVD player.

Spend a relaxed night in bed with a film and rest your feet after a day exploring this beautiful area.

There is a family bathroom upstairs with extra large bath, a twin bedroom with an en-suite wet room, and a further wet room on the ground floor.

Prepare picnics and family meals in the cosy, well-equipped kitchen of this charming property, leading through into a bright and airy dining room.

On cold winter nights, retire to the large sitting room and curl up by the warming wood burning stove.

In the summer, throw the French doors open wide and step out into the garden to soak up the sunshine with a spot of alfresco dining.

Outside, wander along flower-strewn lanes and breathe in the fresh Cornish country air, or a short drive away, the Tamar Otter and Wildlife Centre is a great day out for all the family; come and visit the park’s resident otters, fallow deer and birds of prey!

Nearby, the village of Crackington Haven plays host to a couple of charming tea rooms, a friendly pub, and a lovely sandy cove.

Cornwall’s biggest attraction is its sensational coastline and with Bude, Boscastle and Widemouth all a short drive from this cottage near Launceston, you’ll be spoilt for choice on where to spend those hot summer afternoons playing in the sand, or swimming in the sea.

This is a wonderful rural base, perfect for exploring Cornwall’s coastline, all year round.

North Petherwin is a Cornish village, ideally situated between Launceston and the beautiful cove at Crackington Haven, ten minutes' drive away. Launceston, dominated by the ruins of a Norman castle, is the nearest place for shops and there are plenty of magnificent country inns that welcome visitors to share the local food and ales. Just down the road is the Tamar Otter and Wildlife Centre, or why not take a trip on a miniature steam train from Launceston through the beautiful Kensey Valley on a 5-mile round trip? The stunning Cornish coast draws visitors year after year, and there are plenty of beaches to explore including Bude to the North, plus the picturesque villages of Boscastle, Port Isaac and Tintagel all close by. For the more energetic, there's golf at Launceston and Bude, and fishing, sailing and sea angling all available on the coast.
