Swallow Cottage is a fabulous, detached holiday home sitting on a farm in Trewetha near Port Isaac, Cornwall.

Resting near the coast and enjoying access to Cornwall's stunning beaches, Swallow Cottage makes for the ideal dwelling for a family of four and two furry friends.

After leaving your vehicle in one of the two designated spaces, head up the stairs to find a first-floor open-plan living space, showcasing original features, including exposed beams, and is where you will find everything you need for your self-catered break.

The sitting area has been created with relaxation in mind, offering two leather sofas for you to cosy up on as you watch a film on the TV.

Make the most of the kitchen and rustle up sumptuous meals with the appliances and preparation space provided.

When dinner is ready, enjoy it indoors during the cooler months, otherwise make the most of the peaceful setting and take dinner outside to the balcony.

As day turns to night, descend the stairs to find two thoughtfully laid-out bedrooms, with one being a double and the other being a twin.

The ground-floor shower room has been fitted to a very high standard, and offers you a refreshing rinse in its glass cubicle at the end of the day.

In the morning, relish a steaming cup of coffee out on the sunny lawn, before wandering out to explore the sights.

Idyllically positioned on the grounds of the owners home on the outskirts of the quaint fishing village of Port Isaac rests this superb collection of holiday homes, Trewetha Farm. Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. There is ample parking at the top of the village and the village is a popular tourist destination with plenty of attractions including the dramatic Doyden Castle, the beautiful Lundy Bay and the famous Doc Martin's clinic. There are also plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops in the village. Just a short drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike.
