  • "My family and I,9 of us, had a wonderful stay here."

We mainly used the house as a base whilst we explored the typically tourist parts of Cornwall. However, we would have easily felt at home had we wanted a restful break. Everything we could have needed was inside with so much space. The kids fell in love with the cows and spent most of their time talking to them over the wall getting to know their characters. Welcome book worth noting when you first arrive with useful info to help you get settled in around the house, we couldn't see how to work the heating though and have since contacted the owner. The wood burner made us feel cosy! Ensuite shower was lovely, super king bed was so comfy. Perfect rural retreat.

Thank you for feedback and we look forward to seeing you again. The cows are definitely funny characters. We love seeing them too. Thank you Property Owner

  • "This was our second visit to South Boduel Farmhouse."

We needed a big space for 8 adults, a three year old and baby and this place is ideal. The large kitchen had everything we required and there was plenty of seating in the living room. The utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer came in useful. Our grand daughter loved seeing the farmer arriving on the tractor every morning, to bring hay to the cows that we could see right outside the living room windows. We walked down the country lanes to view Coombe Junction on the Liskeard - Looe railway and see what was left of the canal alongside it. Also walked to Liskeard via Moorswater, which takes about 40 minutes. Went to Liskeard swimming pool with the children and had two trips to The Eden Project. There was problem with the shower plumbing to start with, but the owner Alex kept us informed and it was soon resolved. Looking forward to coming back before too long.

Many thanks for your feedback, we're elated you had a wonderful stay! We look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Kind regards, Alex & Nadia Property Owner

  • "We had a brilliant stay at the farmhouse, just what we needed to all get together and relax over the new years break."

Lots of parking, beautiful quiet surroundings, everything perfectly clean and looked even better than the photos! We'd definitely stay again. The only problems we had were with the plumbing, where the main drainage pipe from the kitchen sink/dishwasher/food disposal blocked. I think removing the food disposal would save guest and the hosts a bit of bother. We ended up having to wash dishes in the utility room, and when I contacted the help number I heard nothing back until we had left. But this was at 6ish on a bank holiday, so I'm not too surprised. I think leaving a plunger somewhere on the property would be great so we could have dealt with it ourselves. There was also water gushing onto the backdoor from the guttering which'll cause some problems down the line if it's not dealt with, and the chimney in the downstairs bedroom leaked with the heavy rain.

Thank you so much for your feedback and I'm glad you had a lovely time together. I apologise we wasn't aware of the above problem and we now have a plumber looking into these issues to resolve them asap. Many thanks again and we look forward to welcoming back very soon. Property Owner

The farmhouse met all our needs & had everything we needed. The orchard area was great for letting our dog have a run around without the worry of getting out onto road & loved the whole setting of the farmhouse. Definitely look forward to returning in the future.

  • "We had an absolutely lovely time at this cottage, we were really impressed with everything."

The rooms were all a great size and there was plenty of space in the kitchen. It was all lovely and clean, and the extra gifts of the scones and wine were greatly received. We especially loved saying hello to the cows in the morning! The only thing we found was that there was no oven gloves, which made cooking quite tricky

Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you had a lovely time and hopefully we'll see you again. I'm sorry you didn't have any oven gloves, not sure what happened there as we provide this and if you called us we would have arranged a pair with the housekeeper. Many thanks Property Owner

  • "Wow what a place for everyone to get together & have a great weeks relaxing stay."

The farmhouse had everything including a 65 inch tv which proved very popular with the world cup matches together with the wood burning fire to warm us up after a day out in the fresh air. Just want to say a big thankyou to Alex who dealt with any issues we had very promptly & was very understanding. The welcome gift of a bottle of wine & scones, cream, Jam etc was much appreciated & the outside space for our dog to run around in the enclosed orchard was great. The cows in the barn next door also provided entertainment in the mornings/evenings & always seemed to think we were going to feed them. Once again thankyou & hopefully we will be back.

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback! We look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Have a lovely Christmas and a happy a New Year. Property Owner

  • "All in all we had a lovely stay at the Farm House."

We had 10 of us staying and on day 2 had a problem with one of the two showers. The owner eas great and a plumber came out and couldnt fins a major issue. It meant for the rest of the holiday we could only run one shower at a time as when both were run the pressure dropped to a trickle of water. There must be ashower pump issue. When we arrived, there were thick cobwebs around most of the windows and it just didnt seem 100% clean. Im guessing we were the first guests for a while. Whilst it didnt cause us any issues, it may be worth chekcing if housekeeping actually cleaned before we entered for future reference. All in all a lovely property, very quiet, very spacious and we enjoyed our 5 nights.

Thank you for your feedback, all issues resolved and we hope to see you again in the future. Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. Many thanks Property Owner

  • "We were very pleased with the property and facilities."

The scones, cream and jam waiting on our arrival was a lovely touch. It would have been nicer with a more storage space in the bedrooms as most of us had to spend the week living out of our suitcases. Also, it would have helped borh parties if we knew there were other renters on the property, that created a little confusion for everyone when we arrived and was almost difficult with parking.

Many thanks for your feedback and we're elated you had a lovely stay. We will ensure the shared areas are made more clear on the website. We hope to see you again. Thanks Property Owner
