Explore the former slate mines of Carnglaze Caverns and be blown away by incredible cascading waterfalls on a hike through the wonderful woodland of Golitha Falls Nature Reserve.

Spend the afternoon at the popular Eden Project and The Lost Gardens Heligan, or hop in the car and head for Par where you can bask in the sunshine on Spit Beach Par before setting about on an awe-inspiring hike along the vast South West Coast Path.

Stop off in the wonderful port village of Charlestown and Mevagissey, filled with lovely cafés to dine in and many exciting attractions such as the Mevagissey Model Railway and Outer Harbour Wall.

A small village just to the west of Bodmin, Lanivet is a collection of picturesque properties, an award-winning fish and chip restaurant, a pub and a few shops. The main town in the area is Bodmin, with its shopping centre and local attractions of the Bodmin and Wenford Railway, the Camel cycle trail, and the Bodmin Jail with its courtroom experience. Close by are Bodmin Moor, the National Trust’s Lanhydrock House and Gardens for walking and cycling, as well as the magnificent Eden Project. Cornwall’s northern surfing coast and beaches are some twelve miles away, and the south coast is eight miles away. With good communication links on the doorstep to all parts of Cornwall, Lanivet is an ideal location for touring or for a simply relaxing Cornish break.
