  • "Lovely well equipped house."

Spotlessly clean. Very grateful for the scones, bread and milk left for us. Stayed with a group of friends, all thought one of the nicest houses we’ve holidayed in. We all loved Bonny the three legged farm dog . Would happily stay again.

  • "Our stay at Home farm was everything we would have hoped for."

Jackie and Robin were very accommodating and friendly. The farm house was very comfortable, and the surrounding countryside was lovely and peaceful and quiet. We will be going back again, and recommending it to our friends, we loved Bonny their three legged dog she was smashing. Thank you Jackie and Robin, once again.

  • "As a family of 8, 2 grown up children, their spouses and two grandchildren, we celebrated my 60th birthday together."

Time together is precious and Home Farm was the ideal location. We all had our own bathroom and the house is so well equipped and clean, with a lovely outdoor space too. The grandchildren loved seeing the cows from the windows and visiting the chickens, not to mention the visits from Bonnie. We would definitely recommend to family groups or a big family. Thank you.

  • "Not a kids friendly place!"

!!!! Owner or registered person live nextdoor just came after we arrived and ask how many we stays? On your site is very misleading it doesn't say we can't bring kids or 1 year old infants to this place cos they count as people!!!! Then we got problem no clear instructions or introduce to the property where room door keys locked it's annoying. Later when we rang on the number in book, her partner came and gave room keys and mentioned you can't have kids running around the property therefore we must pay additional £100 or they threatened us to leave by next door morning!!!! When we mentioned we will be publishing this on TripAdvisor as a help to other guests, he used slang language in front of kids!!!! Then all our holiday was ruined. More importantly this site is misleading property is sut next to working farm not good view or smell. When we explained we booked this 3 months ahead and paid over £800 for 2 nights!!! Avoid at all cost. Only to mention lady we believe legal registered or leased property person actually good person, partner and her daughter was very rude!!!!

  • "As a rule I do not "Recommend" anything or anybody."

However, if asked I would say that we used Sykes Cottages and were more than satisfied. Home Farm was an excellent location for walking and was in easy reach of Boscastle. Molly the three-legged dog was a big hit with us all. We enjoyed our stay at Home Farm and would go back.

  • "Home farm has a fabulous location, surrounded by a working farm and fab sea views."

Robin and Jackie the owners are so friendly and helpful and Bonnie the 3 legged collie is just so cute, this is the 2nd year running we have stayed there, they also run a brilliant Farm shop in Boscastle with a cafe full of homemade produce to eat in or take away. We had a great week again and highly recommend Home Farm.

  • "The property is exactly as listed."

Very comfortable, with good sized rooms and showers. Kitchen exceptionally equipped. Super lounge and conservatory. Owners ( & Bella their dog) are very welcoming and the house clean and tidy. We appreciated the bread, milk, eggs, butter and fresh scones awaiting our arrival. Boscastle 10 mins drive away. A super harbour village. Crackington Haven beach about 25 minutes away for a lovely seaside experience. Tintagel Castle worth a visit. 6 of us plus 3 year old Grandson had a very fine week. Thanks

  • "We had an excellent stay and thoroughly enjoyed the facilities at Home Farm."

It would be really helpful for future users if there was a full list of commodities and utilities provided in the house such as there is toilet roll, kitchen roll, butter, dishwasher tablets, dishcloths, tea, coffee, coffee machine (also for instance, we arrived to two loaves of fresh bread and needn’t have purchased 3 ourselves!) - this would help users plan their shopping in advance! Otherwise an excellent week!

  • "I don’t think they can do much about the number of flies in the conservatory as it’s so close to the working farm."

That was the only problem that could not be fixed. We just used a fly spray and swept off the dead flies… Besides this, Home Farm is absolutely a great choice! We had a fabulous week. I thought I had already posted my review but I have just checked it’s on Trust-Pilot. Copying it here: Class Reunion, Cornwall 2022 Our week at The Farmhouse was very comfortable. It was an excellent choice for us, a group of friends. The approach drive is breathtakingly beautiful, with views of the meadows, cliff tops and sea. A delicious welcome hamper of scones, clotted cream and jam from the Boscastle Farm Shop ( we didn’t realise it is under same ownership as the Farm House!) , besides milk, eggs, bacon etc. The Aga was a new experience for us. We had brought our evening meals along so just popped it in the Aga and somehow it seems to warm up food better than the microwave! Our week also saw the most glorious weather so there were days when we were able to enjoy G&Ts and evening meals in the garden, with the backdrop of Boscastle and the ocean. Robin and Jackie are great hosts, always handy to sort out any problems. Special mention to Bonnie, the sweetest dog who is always ready for some love if there is any going! The large conservatory is a lovely gathering spot, especially in the evenings when it got cooler. The bedrooms are comfortable and all being en suite was very convenient. There are walking trails easily accessible from the farm.

  • "A beautiful house in a fantastic setting."

Comfortable, warm and welcoming- a wonderful fully equipped kitchen in traditional and modern style. Our only regret was not being able to say thank you, personally, but that is more than understandable on a working farm. And the cheese scones.....wow!!’
