  • Mr Rose

“Arrived at Phenets after a long journey only to find everything need for a Cornish Cream Tea; it was a lovely surprise.”

The house has everything you could wish for; kitchen includes all the crockery/cookware/utensils that we could need. More than sufficient towels, and all four beds being made up, despite there just being the 2 of us. Lovely place and a 15 minute walk to the beach. Highly recommended.

The property

One mile from the coast, Phenests sits in a tranquil residential spot with a teasing sea glimpse from the front garden, in fabulous Falmouth.

Swanpool Beach is 800 meters away and the resort attractions are a few minutes’ drive.

This semi-detached house offers welcoming, comfortable home-from-home accommodation, with ample off-street parking, front garden and a pretty enclosed rear garden.

The entrance hallway leads into a separate sitting room with comfy seating and the kitchen is modern with all the mod cons, including a utility room with a washer/dryer, plus dining space framing garden views from the patio doors.

The first floor hosts three bedrooms; all beds have sleep-inducing mattress-toppers for additional comfort, plus the family shower room.

The garden is attractive with decking, bench and alfresco table and chairs, a lovely sunspot for morning coffee and evening tipples with paved area and steps leading up to the slightly raised lawn, a haven for little ones and dogs to play.

Falmouth resort boasts big harbour with stunning views across to Flushing and St Mawes.

Four glorious beaches, The National Maritime Museum, galleries, inns and restaurants, with oceanside cafes and boats and boards for hire will keep you entertained.

Take a sea fishing excursion or explore the hidden creeks by kayak.

Closer to home, just a 2 minute walk away is Falmouth golf course where you can Pitch & Putt, or play a full round of golf.

Coast path rambles, castles and countryside beckons, with glorious Trebah Gardens a 15 minute drive away.

With so many adventures close by, Phenests makes the most perfect base for family, friends and couples seeking coast and country capers, whatever time of year.
