  • "Our second visit to this property, and we enjoyed it just as much as the first."

Clean, comfortable, gorgeous views, hot tub, what more could you want? We will definitely return as there are so many things to do in this lovely part of the country, or just to relax with a glass of wine or two. Recommend The Cornishman in Tintagel for a great lunch, and Pengenna Pasties in Fore Street for the best pasties ever!

Thanks for choosing our lodge again Val, we look forward to welcoming you back in the future Kind regards Jo and Kevin Property Owner

  • "Chi Prenn Byhan is outstanding."

Everything you could possibly need for a week away from home. It was spotlessly clean, gorgeous fluffy towels, uber comfy beds and the hot tub a luxury. The view is captivating. We spotted short eared owls in the field in front and heard barn owls calling. The location is perfect, very quiet and peaceful. Walks straight front the front door. The Rocky Valley walk (which you can make circular), where fresh water meets salt is a must! We had a brilliant stay and would not hesitate to return. Thank you for sharing your wonderful holiday home x

Thank you so much for your feedback. We absolutely love it when people have a fabulous holiday. Love to welcome you again Property Owner

  • "We enjoyed a delightful stay at the property, which was well located, furnished and equipped."

The tiles in the bathroom would benefit from some diluted bleach and a stout scrubbing brush to remove unsightly stains, this, however did not detract from an enjoyable stay.

Thank you so much for this helpful feedback. We have communicated this to our cleaners. We are pleased you had a lovely stay. Hope to welcome you again. Property Owner

Outside chair had broken slate. Oven instructions should be left clearly available.

The boiler is accessible for guests to choose own preferences, the oven instructions are in the guests folder. We appreciate being informed about the broken seat and will replace. • "Property was lovely and clean."

Plenty of facilities available, which made it very accommodating. Absolutely stunning view and the quietness was ideal. The only downfall is that the hot tub had not been prepared prior to our arrival (meaning it was not ready for use upon arrival) when the hot tub was then filled, there was a fault, unfortunately due to the fault, an engineer could not attend until the next morning, we then had to wait the day for the hot tub to heat up. This meant that we unfortunately lost an evening and day of the hot tub use (which was one of the main reasons we chose this specific accommodation). Whilst the situation was dealt with as quickly as possible, it did feel in that respect we did not get our full monies worth. We would return, however I would contact prior to make them aware of our upcoming arrival to ensure all facilities are ready for use.

Thank you for your feedback and we absolutely acknowledge that the fault with the hot tub impacted your overall experience. Our maintenance worked as quickly as possible to resolve and we truly hope you will return so we can offer some way of compensating you next time. We endeavour to make sure everything is working and ready for all our guests, unfortunately this time was not as we desire, although faults can occur outside of our control. We’d love to welcome you again. Property Owner

(minor moan) . As we stayed 2 weeks a washing machine would have been useful, as would a decent frying pan! This aside, the cabin was very comfortable and the site perfect, so peaceful, just what we wanted. The view is amazing and the hot tub was lovely. We will definitely return to this cabin.

Thanks for your feedback Val. New frying pan purchased ✅ We’ve shared feedback with site cleaners and acknowledged your short wait on this occasion. The lodge does have a washing machine, situated under the hob, sorry you didn’t find it. So pleased you enjoyed your stay and would love to welcome you again. Property Owner

Nice views of the valley and the site felt very peaceful. The cleaning team (led by Carole) did an excellent job after storm Eunice and its issues. The hot tub was brilliant and maintained every day. Only slight issue for anyone is the microwave being out of action....but that's very minor indeed. Would totally recommend.

Tintagel, home of the legendary King Arthur’s Castle, whose ruins dominate the cliffside just outside the village, is a popular but not overcrowded tourist destination. The surrounding area is dominated by the sea, rocky coves and stunning scenery. Several beaches, including nearby Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove, are within easy reach and surfing is the main attraction for those who love the water. Tintagel has several pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office (National Trust) is a must. For the energetic, the SW Coast Path passes through the village and in both directions it winds its way along the cliffs and down to the water’s edge through dramatic countryside. Head north along the path and in 2.5 miles is the beautiful village of Boscastle with its quaint quay and village pubs for refreshment. Further afield are the surfing meccas of Newquay and Bude, with their resort attractions, while the open spaces of Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Padstow, Camel Estuary and Port Isaac are all within a 40-minute drive.
