  • "Fishermans cottage is great, small but perfectly formed."

Has everything you need for a short break. Located 10 minutes from the coast path and stunning views.

I've stayed at a few holiday cottages and this is my favourite.

  • "Fisherman's Cottage was a wonderful place to stay and with a long history."

Cafe across the road, literally 15 minute walk to Tintagel and even less to get you onto the South West Coast path or down to the cove when the tide was out (mind it is a bit steep on the return). Although it has small footprint it has all that is needed and my partner and myself thought it is great place if you are using it as a base to travel about probably not so good if it was wet and you were shut in with no where to go. Although it is small I stand at just over 6 foot and managed not to clonk my head once. The place was clean and decor was in good condition and we would stay again.

  • "We had a very enjoyable stay in this beautiful, comfortable quirky little cottage."

It was within easy walking distance of Tintagel and the coastal paths and beaches which we made the most of with our dog. It was well equipped and thoughtfully decorated with some old wooden beams and lovely fireplace. Thankyou for making our holiday memorable.

  • "The cottage needs a fridge freezer and the trees around the cottage are a nuisance blocking out the sunlight all day ."

That said the place is great and the location outstanding, we really enjoyed ourselves .

  • "Lovely cottage located away from the main drag so a quiet spot."

Recommend taking some tea towels with you as none provided. Clean, tidy little cottage which was lovely to stay in.

  • "The cottage was in the perfect location to enjoy walks from the doorstep along the coastal path in both directions as well as a quiet beach and St."

Nectan’s waterfall. The cottage had everything we needed from a well equipped kitchen to a sunny outside decking area to the front and rear. I would thoroughly recommend.

  • "Fishermans Cottage was a well equipped little gem of a cottage."

We loved the quirky nature of the building and it was ideally situated for walks from the door. . The walk up St Nectan's Glen to the waterfall is a must. We look forward to returning in the future to continue our exploration of the beautiful North Devon Coast.

  • "We really enjoyed the cottage, but just a couple of small niggles which the owners may think of addressing."

We were surprised that the refrigerator didn’t have a freezer section, so no ice for the G&T’s(!), but seriously some people may travel or buy frozen products and would have to throw them away. We also found the door lock a bit awkward until we got the knack after a couple of days. Otherwise a most enjoyable stay despite having to return a couple of days early because of the second lockdown. Would heartily recommend for two people who are looking for a compact property, plenty of heat available and would visit again.

  • "Nice location but the cottage poorly presented decking area need a good clean especially the front one very untidy we expected it to be quirky but very little space to hang you cloth etc the only wardrobe had Hoover etc in it ."

. The cottage is looking a bit tired needs a little TLC how every a very comfortable bed and the weather was very good .I wouldn't recommend Fishersman cottages to stay Reguards Gordon Pearce

Thank you for your feedback. The cottage is a grade 2, 600 year old listed building and is maintained to a good standard as shown in the images on the website. Everything at the property is as shown on our property page. The decking is regularly pressure cleaned but please be aware that the cottage is surrounded by cedar and pine trees and, being in a coastal location, the wind carries the needles onto the decking so it needs to be swept daily. Birds do also nest in the trees. Many thanks Property Owner

One or two basics missing from this property, such as a bin in the kitchen area , only one wine glass no tea towel silly little things but overall a lovely little cottage well situated within walking distance of Tintagel

  • "A lovely week in a comfortable cottage."

There are probably some people who would look at the outside and run away and book something else, like a book, do not judge it by the outside.
