“Overall, the cottage itself and of course the location were excellent.”

Recent work has been carried out to increase the security and privacy of the cottage with a new fence and gate separating and fully enclosing it (perfect for the dogs!) from the adjacent properties, plus a privacy fence has been added to the decking area next to the hot tub. Inside, the cottage is open plan, fully furnished, warm, welcoming, comfortable (literally my only niggle is that I personally prefer fitted cushion sofas, but you're not going on holiday in Cornwall to sit in the cottage all day!) with lots of essentials already provided such as tea, coffee, cleaning products, bin liners and so forth. The garden area was also a very nice place to spend time in if you fancy a quiet evening in the evening sun, the large grass area plenty to keep the dogs occupied and it has to be said the hot tub was amazing! We certainly made use of that for the week! After a long day of seeing the sights and walking up and down steep hills in the Cornish countryside, coming back to Mor Cottage at the end of it was always lovely. We were certainly sad to leave, would love to stay again and would absolutely recommend Mor Cottage as a perfect place to stay for like minded people and your four legged friends.

Mor Cottage sits in a small courtyard of attractive holiday cottages with its own private hot tub.

Boasting welcoming and spacious accommodation, this mid-terraced haven is perfect for family, friends and couples looking to enjoy coastal and countryside adventures, within easy reach of stunning beaches, coves and resorts.

The iconic Padstow with its picturesque harbour, Rick Stein’s restaurant, good shops and galleries to browse is just three miles west.

Mor Cottage has allocated off-street parking to ensure you always have a space and the gated enclosed garden at the front has a lawn and decked area with garden furniture for dining under the sun, creating a safe space for children to play.

Relax in the hot tub with a glass of fizz after a day of coast path rambling or boating.

The first floor has two bedrooms; a master with double bed and TV, and twin bedroom, all with ample storage space and lush rural views capturing green hills beyond.

The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, so opt between an invigorating shower or a bubbly soak.

The north Cornish coast is a beautiful area and guarantees lots to see and do.

Witness the fabulous seascapes from the South West Coast Path, reached within a short stroll from the cottage.

Join the Harlyn Bay Surf School or discover the very scenic Camel Estuary and much loved Rock resort, a popular spot for sailing.

About the location

TINTAGEL

Camelford 6 miles; Wadebridge 12 miles.

Tintagel, home of the legendary King Arthur’s Castle, whose ruins dominate the cliffside just outside the village, is a popular but not overcrowded tourist destination. The surrounding area is dominated by the sea, rocky coves and stunning scenery. Several beaches, including nearby Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove, are within easy reach and surfing is the main attraction for those who love the water. Tintagel has several pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office (National Trust) is a must. For the energetic, the SW Coast Path passes through the village and in both directions it winds its way along the cliffs and down to the water’s edge through dramatic countryside. Head north along the path and in 2.5 miles is the beautiful village of Boscastle with its quaint quay and village pubs for refreshment. Further afield are the surfing meccas of Newquay and Bude, with their resort attractions, while the open spaces of Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Padstow and the Camel Estuary are all within a 40-minute drive.
