Enjoying a quiet, rural setting and surrounded by lush countryside, this contemporary cottage offers a great base for families or groups of friends looking to getaway-from-it-all.

After parking up in the spacious driveway, step into a small hallway where you can leave your boots and coats before finding the sitting room.

Dominated by two large sofas, here you can snuggle up and enjoy a cosy movie night from the Smart TV, or simply discuss tomorrows plan.

The spacious kitchen/diner is a lovely place to prepare your meals, boasting a light and airy feel thanks to the abundance of natural lighting, while a contemporary selection of appliances, including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave, are sure to inspire some home-cooking.

Off the kitchen lies a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, handy for when your adventures take off on a muddier trail.

As you tire, whisk yourself off to bed in either of the five bedrooms. The master includes a sumptuous king size bed with en-suite shower, followed by a super-king-size and a king-size with en-suite shower, completed with two twin rooms which are perfect for children.

Serving the bedrooms is the family bathroom with bath and walk-in shower, so you can decide how best to prepare for the day.

Continuing to impress, to the exterior of this property lies an enclosed patio garden, complete with outdoor furniture from which alfresco dining is recommended.

The local village of Bradworthy has plenty of interesting small grocery shops and a pub set around the traditional village square.

If you fancy a day lounging on the sands, the magnificent beaches of Bude, Widemouth Bay and Sandymouth Bay are within 11 miles and with Bideford and Westward Ho! only 25 minutes drive away.
