The cottage was exactly as described and very cosy. The cake, milk and logs for the fire were much appreciated. The cottage has its own private garden area and is set in lovely grounds with a lake that you can walk around. The local village has a great pub. Highly recommended.

Cottage includes discrete enclosed area ideal for pets. Property is situated on outskirts of Bradworthy, a traditional Devon village situated a short drive from the North Cornish Coast and has a wide range of shops providing all essential services and includes a traditional pub with a good range of foods available to eat in or take out. The owners home is attached to the property and they are very friendly and helpful. A lovely little cottage with secluded outside seating and access to the owners' extensive gardens with lake and stream, ideal for walking dogs at the start and end of the day. Open moorland where dogs can run free only a 10 minute walk away as are shops and pub, lots of dog friendly beaches within a comfortable driving distance and hosts who treat you as friends and not just clients. Plus a welcome food pack including home made cake. Mary Berry eat your heart out!

We're so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. It was lovely to host you both too. It's great having the open moorland nearby for walking, with or without dogs. • "What a lovely, quirky cottage!"

It was very welcoming on our arrival especially with the cake for us and some doggie biscuits for Pippa. It was in a great location for visiting both Devon and Cornwall. Jo and Zac seem to have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable. It was a strange week dodging showers or heavy rain and then by the death of our Queen. I would recommend this cottage.
