The property

A delightful semi-detached Cornish quietly positioned down a country lane just two miles from the harbour and beach at Porthleven.

Retaining many period features, ornate fireplaces and low beamed ceilings the cottage is full of homely charm and is a cosy retreat for all seasons.

A wood burning stove welcomes you into an open plan kitchen diner where family meals can be enjoyed around a traditional farmhouse table.

Comfortable red sofas in the living room add a splash of colour and contrast against the rough rendered whitewashed cottage walls.

A staircase leads you to the upstairs bedrooms where crisp white linen complete this pretty country cottage and where views can be enjoyed across the fields and countryside as far as the coast and sea.

To the rear of the cottage, you will find a patio garden enclosed by stone walls and bordering fields, which is a very sheltered spot to enjoy alfresco meals or a summer evening barbecue.

A short stroll will take you to the village of Breage where you will find a village post office and a local pub.

The nearby fishing village of Porthleven is just a 5 minute drive.

Here you will find a plethora of amenities including fine restaurants, Rick Stein's being one, good pubs, a high calibre deli with wood fired pizza takeaway, pharmacy and a good fish and chip shop!

What is more, there is a perfect beach for families with rock pools for the young and fishing trips for the more adventurous and an excellent fishmonger for those whose luck did not prevail!

Sea View provides a comfortable base for families close to the beaches of the south coast.
