  • "Availability of belongs wasn't clear."

    Such as tea spoon, or any cutlery, please notify any unwanted items like less clorin on hot tub and more towels would be ideal for a bigger gathering. All above it's a awesome place to stay and gathering groups with your friends. It's always pleasure.

  • "Grubby property, mould on the windows, dust/cobwebs everywhere, smelly drains, shower waste would not empty in investigation the plug holes had never ever been cleaned and full of disgusting hair and black filth, microwave/grill filthy and black food particles falling into food while heating up in the microwave (had to give the microwave a quick clean to be able to use it) Loose ovens as not screws into kitchen units."

    Shape broken floor tiles. TV’s would not work and apparently there’s a known fault, not sure why the aerial item that has an intermittent fault on isn’t changed? Hot tub has seem better days as no bubbles, jet switches do not turn/not working and som bits loose, also it is stained, nice view but a hot bath with a view doesn’t cut the mustard when the property is offering a hot tub! Property is advert as a 6 bedroom, one bunk bed room is adjoining the main bedroom and you must go through the main room to get to the 6th bedroom.

    I like to thank every guest for taking the time to give a constructive and honest review but I am at a loss to know how to respond to this one. We have been almost fully booked since April last year (which tells its own story) and been blessed with some lovely guests but I guess we have to accept that every once in a while we cannot please everyone all of the time. For those prospective guests who are looking at Moorfield, I would say only, that good cleaning staff have been in short supply, but we do now have an excellent housekeeper whose attention to detail is unquestionable. Having said that, this review, I believe, is written with malice and I don't know why. The guests had our staff out several times for no reason and unfortunately they contributed or caused some of the damage they were complaining about. We are always happy to answer any questions about the property so that you know what you are booking. Property Owner

  • "We booked Moorfield for a weekend stay with family to celebrate my Dad's 'big' birthday and it was everything we had hoped for."

    ....spacious, modern, well equipped, comfortable and homely. There were a couple of maintenance issues that we have reported to the management company and a deeper more thorough clean wouldn't go amiss in places but that aside it is a large and wonderful property with stunning views and great facilities and I truly wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

  • "Beautiful house close to a lovely village (ten minutes away by foot) House was very clean and spacious."

    Very modern and comfortable. There was a smell from the Ces’s pit and occasionally the showers went cold and tv needed retuning. Lady on the telephone was extremely helpful! Wonderful family and friends stay. Would highly recommend. Furthermore, please note one set of bunks are only accessible via the main bedroom (handy for children to stay with their family) . Gorgeous views and fabulous hot tub. We booked a hog roast and had a take away from a local Chinese.

This was not for the want of being emptied but more from the electrical motor having a fault which we were able to diagnose when the engineers were called in.   • "Amazing property but the windows and glass balcony was dirty and think one pane of glass may need replacing as it spoils the spectacular views."

    Also plenty of cobwebs about and all furniture not moved to check under neath them etc, but a very beautiful home.

We do have a pane of glass that does need replacing - it has misted slightly, however, it is a rather large job that will take the house out of action for around a week and as we have been almost fully booked since last May with only odd days of down time, this as been difficult to schedule in.     The pictures prior did not do it justice. The place was spotless and everything covered. The environmental aspect of the house perhaps needs to be shouted about more in the commentary as this was also a plus. Many thanks for a perfect holiday, one the whole family will never forget.
