The property

Marigold Cottage is a quirky old fisherman's cottage that can be found nestled within the quiet streets of the charming village of Polperro.

Within reaching distance of the bustling fishing harbour, this Grade II listed abode provides the ultimate retreat for couples who seek a romantic weekend by the coast with their four-legged friend.

Step inside the dwelling to be greeted by the country kitchen, kitted out with handy utensils and well-thought out appliances such as the electric cooker and hob where you can whip up a delicious lunchtime snack.

Take a seat at the wooden dining table and admire the character of the original exposed beams and stone-fireplace with electric woodburning effect stove, whilst you tuck-in to your food and map out your plans for the days to come.

Make your way up to the first floor and discover a spacious sitting room where you can turn on the electric fire and snuggle up with your loved one on the sofa as you lose yourself in the TV, or curl up with a book from the bookcase.

When the day turns to night, feast upon a lovingly prepared meal at the first-floor dinning table as you gaze out to the streets of the village from the window and raise a glass to spending quality time together on a wonderfully romantic escape.

Grab your drinks and climb the steep external staircase to the seating area for drinks at the patio furniture, where you can take in the magnificent views as you watch the sun set on the harbour and appreciate this memorable moment.

Head back inside the cottage and venture up to the second-floor to find an oak four-poster bed to lay your head to rest at the end of an exciting day.

In the morning grab your best walking clothes from the antique drawers and wander down to the first-floor bathroom for a refreshing wash in the shower, pull on your coat and boots and grab the dogs lead before delighting in a morning stroll along the Polperro's dog-friendly beach just a ten minute walk away.

Explore the natural beauty of Chapel Pool and saunter the galleries of Polperro Harbour Heritage Museum before stopping off for a bite to eat at one of the local cafe's.

Embark of a scenic trail from Polperro to Looe on an outstanding Coastal Walk or spend the day at Adrenalin Quarry for a thrilling adventure zip lining across the quarry or playing on the Aquapark.
