We have another 2 weeks booked. Hopefully we should be able to move in then. It has been our sanctuary after a hard days work. It is comfortable, well furnished. So we and our dog thank you. Reviewed by MoiraApr 2022 "As previous comments have noted it is in desperate need of new mattresses particularly the double divan." It was clean homely and had fabulous facilities both in the bungalow and on the site. Thank you for taking the time to complete your feedback. We are glad that you enjoyed the property and the facilities on site. The double bed is a hotel quality bed and is less than a year old, so really quite new. As we know beds are a matter of preference, so perhaps not the same as your bed at home. A handle over the bath would make getting in and out easier but I am older So just a personal thing But overall fab stay thank you Reviewed by ChristinaJun 2021 "The chalet was extremely clean and comfortable, both bathroom and toilets were spotless." The bedrooms were all to a high standard, there were plenty of lights and plug sockets. There was always plenty of hot water when you need it. The holiday park was in the most beautiful setting. The owners were always friendly, and very welcoming, and they allowed well behaved dogs into the pub/restaurant which was a big bonus for me. There are 2 swimming pools, tennis courts and children's play areas, with a huge park to walk your dog around. I would definitely recommend this holiday chalet and park. Reviewed by JulieJun 2021 "The cottage was lovely inside." The tea coffee biscuits cream tea dish cloths etc were a welcome surprise. My only criticism would be that the mattress was old and bumpy with very noisy springs so not that comfy. Otherwise it was a great holiday. Reviewed by SharonSep 2020 "We always go camping, so this was a real change for us." We hugely appreciated arriving to find scones, clotted cream and jam and enough supplies for a few rounds of tea and coffee! The cottage was lovely and clean (it had clearly been totally disinfected prior to our arrival), and the kitchen was well equipped. We appreciated the fact that with Covid 19 the staff wanted to ensure that everyone had at least two swims guaranteed - and we booked these in as soon as we arrived. We had the outdoor pool to ourselves and shared the (quite large) indoor pool with one other family, with a rope separating us. The staff at the bar and the restaurant were really welcoming and friendly. All in all, it was a really lovely stay - a real treat for us as a family! Many thanks. Reviewed by KatherineAug 2020 "We were pleased overall." Three issues that need to be addressed. Key safe was hard to use, takes several goes to release. Bathroom window won't open so gets damp in the property, very little pressure in bathroom basin tap. Reviewed by AlanJul 2020 "Very disappointed with the cleanliness throughout." The beds were so hard we went home early with bad backs. The DVD player didn’t work and struggled to get hot water to come out at any pressure. The lodge needs a total revamp with new beds and a regular clean not just a quick flip through. Perhaps we expect to much but the add information doesn’t make you think it’s going to be dirty with really hard beds. Reviewed by MarkSep 2018 "Unfortunately, the bungalow is showing signs of damp, with mould coming through on the main bedroom ceiling." the guttering at the rear is leaking severely. despite previous reviews stating the same, nothing has been done about the uncomfortable beds which is a shame. the swimming pool facility and games room was great for the children and it was handy having a restaurant on site too. Reviewed by CharlotteAug 2018 "The Bungalow was great." The tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival was the icing on the cake. Callington is a great base to explore Devon and Cornwall as it’s fairly central. Found some great beaches nearby at Portwrinkle and Whitsand bay Reviewed by DuncanJul 2018 "All though it was June the on sight facilities were closed Sunday and Monday." It says there is a restaurant in sight but after completing a five hour drive we thought we could eat on site however it was all closed, would have been good to have been told Smelt very damp and musky Settee was gone in middle so you could not sit straight Beds where lumpy as described by previous guests in visitor book but ibvously this had not been looked into Central heating worked for no more than two hours at a time so you either froze or got to hot this was very challenging as we had an 84 year old with us.
