The property

This spacious, rambling house is set in a quiet road close to the small market town of Camelford, in the Camel Valley north west of Bodmin Moor.

This lovely house is full of character and with three bedrooms can accommodate up to six people.

The holiday home’s location and size make it perfect for groups of families and friends exploring Cornwall and its dramatic north coastline.

The house is entered via a large porch into a spacious kitchen with a dining area, complete with a multi-fuel stove.

This leads on into the comfy sitting room where you’ll find an open fire, ideal for those cooler nights out of season.

Up the stairs are three delightful bedrooms and a bathroom, with a separate shower on the ground floor located in the utility room adjoining the porch, allowing you to hop straight in as soon as you get back from a day at the beach.

You will have use of the garage at the front of the house, where you can store surfboards and bikes, and you’ll find a plentiful supply of logs.

There is an outdoor seating area at the side of the house, the perfect place to relax and the west-facing garden gets the sun all day!

At over 700ft above sea level, Camelford is one of the highest towns in England and offers several shops, pubs, takeaways and cafés.

For walkers and explorers, Rough Tor is one of the highest points in the county.

On a clear day, an exhilarating walk to the top will reward you with magnificent views when both north and south coasts are visible.

Trebarwith Strand beach is beautiful and only around five miles away, offering a range of attractions including The Port William pub and surfing lessons.

Being centrally located, Highfield is ideal for enjoying both beaches and fabulous countryside.

Whatever your holiday plans, it is a great choice all year round!
