  • "They had us when we spotted the scones, jam and cream!"

We all said ‘wow’ when we went upstairs and saw the main living area of the property. Well laid out, spacious and clean with good furniture. The beds were super comfy, in fact, those of us that slept upstairs were looking forward to going to bed on the second night just because of that! Two adults and a four year old had plenty of space in the twin beds pushed together upstairs. A really lovely property with its own parking space and the benefit of two bathrooms. Nice concrete floors means no creaking or noise from upstairs. Only three recommendations for improvement: a smart tv so we could watch content from our devices (essential these days with a four year old), a shelf or something in the upstairs bathroom for a large wash-bag and finally a shaving light. Fantastic stay and would not hesitate in booking again for that area.

  • "What a lovely property."

Everything you could possibly need was provided down to the smallest of details. Games, books, leaflets for local attractions and a very helpful folder with lots of information. Beautifully decorated and a pleasure to come back to at the end of a busy day. The downstairs bathroom could do with a blind of some sort for more privacy. Sailors Retreat Is situated ideally for access to many local amenities and towns/beaches. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

That was a lovely comment sent by Alexandra and much appreciated! I will be looking to fit a blind in the downstairs bathroom as suggested and am always happy to improve the property according to our valuable guest suggestions! Thank you again for your heartwarming comments and we hope you will visit again in the future! Kind regards, Brian & Julie Property Owner
