The property

This classic Queen Anne house is set in the heart of the historic market town of Camelford near the north Cornwall coast.

This house is in an ideal location for touring all of Cornwall, in particular the spectacular north coast and the famous villages of Tintagel and Boscastle.

Built in the late 17th century and steeped in history with a host of former famous owners this charming most spacious house has been extensively and lovingly restored to its former glory by its current owner, a former world famous ballet dancer.

You sense the history and unique feeling of the house the moment you enter with a sitting room either side, both with woodburners, one being a superb cosy family room with three large sofas and the other being ideal for the children with games, a PlayStation and a Wii to enjoy.

The magnificent dining room is located in between the family sitting room and the kitchen with a long table comfortably sitting twelve.

The kitchen and adjoining utility area features all you will need for large groups.

There are six en-suite bedrooms here set over the first and second floors, and all are individual with something to suit everyone.

At the rear of the house a delightful terraced garden offers the ideal spot for private alfresco dining with ample seating for all the family and a gas barbecue.

Being tucked away just off the main street in Camelford there is easy access to the town with a choice of pubs, restaurants and takeaways and independently owned shops.

Just a short stroll away, a beautiful park offers a stunning walk along the river, ideal for children and dogs.

Also close by and a must visit for walkers are the two highest points in Cornwall, one of which, Rough Tor, offers the finest views in the county with both north and south coasts visible on a clear day.

With so many places to explore and so much to do throughout the year whatever the weather, this delightful house offers excellent accommodation in an historic location.
