  • "Very pleased with the house and it's facilities."

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Access to St Ives was very easy by train, as was Carbis Bay, and the views were fabulous.

  • "Wasn't the best weather but the apartment and the sandy beach and town made up for it!"

Really good relaxing weekend, well deserved and needed! We had the most amazing time, lovely relaxing home from home. We will be back again. Beds very comfortable, hot tub amazing, everything we needed all in one place. Beautiful décor and high spec throughout! We both needed this and no complaints at all!

  • "It was a pleasure staying at Atlantic Watch 7 with my daughters, I must say, it exceeded all our expectations."

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by its stunning location and the mesmerizing view of the sea. The cottage itself was a haven of comfort and serenity. The interior was tastefully decorated, combining modern amenities with a touch of coastal charm. The large windows and open layout allowed for ample natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every detail was carefully thought out, from the furnishings to the soothing color scheme that perfectly complemented the surrounding landscape. I left feeling rejuvenated, with cherished memories that will stay with me for a lifetime. I highly recommend Atlantic Watch 7 as a place for a luxury getaway.

  • "It was a lovely place to stay, however, there were a few issues the washer dryer did not work it had a fault code when we tried to use it and ended up with very wet clothes."

The TV in both bedrooms did not work. There was a very damp smell in the small bedroom due to water ingress by the window there was a rolled up towel to collect the water. The toilet seat was falling off. And lastly the hot tub cover needs replacing it was so heavy and water logged I could not lift it off.

Thank you very much for your feedback on my property. Unfortunately as you did not bring all the points you raise in your review to the attention of the agent during your stay, we were not given the opportunity to deal with them. I understand you checked into the property late on Saturday afternoon and used the washing machine the next morning. The washing machine fault was reported to me on Monday and I immediately made the offer to reimburse you should you wish to dry your clothes using a local laundry facility. Unfortunately white goods do develop faults on occasion just as they do in our own homes and we face the same challenges finding an engineer to attend immediately, especially on a Sunday. There is currently only one engineer in the entire St Ives area, he was unable to attend within the timeframe and it was not possible to purchase and install a new washing machine during the remainder of your short break. I am not aware of any issues with the televisions and wonder if the issues you experienced could have been weather related as they have both been fine. Due to the unprecedented amount of rain and high winds we experienced over the winter months, some water had penetrated the balcony above the second bedroom which was why the towel was placed on the window sill as a precaution. However, when the housekeeper attended the property after your departure, this was completely dry and she did not report a smell. The balcony has since been re tiled and the issue rectified. I am unaware of any issue with the toilet seat and in regard to the hot tub cover it had begun to absorb water making it heavier to lift. Thank you for drawing my attention to this as it has also been replaced. These issues were not reported to the agent during your stay and I understand you chose not to use the complimentary laundry facility offered either. I do hope you will return in the future and enjoy the property in better weather. Thank you very much. Kind regards The Property Owner Property Owner

  • "WOW! Was not disappointed with Atlantic Watch 7 booked to celebrate my Husbands 60th birthday."

Property absolutely stunning, location perfect, although the trip to the beach takes some getting used to, but not complaining. Loved the convince of the location of the train station and used the train to St Ives several times during our stay. Had an issue with the upstairs toilet continually running but the lady who manages the property could not get a plumber in till the following week, but this issue was not a problem for us. Hot tub area felt a little enclosed. Only thing we could have done with was maybe a small washing line for wet costumes rather than using the the dryer. Overall a perfect stay and will return. Thank you.

Thank you for your taking the time to leave feedback, it’s much appreciated. We are pleased to hear you had a perfect stay and we hope you all had a wonderful holiday celebrating your husbands 60th Birthday. We will be sure to pass on your suggestions to the owner for their consideration. We hope we get the opportunity to welcome you back again in the future. Kind Regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team. • "Lovely modern & well equipped apartment in gorgeous location & stunning views."

Unfortunately, there was a horrible sewerage smell in the downstairs bathroom, which we couldn't get rid of even with an air freshener & bleach. It would be great to have some black out blinds in the bedrooms as was very light very early. Bonus for us would be to be dog friendly as we would return year after year due to the lovely location. A great stay for our minimoon. Thank you

  • "Kimberley was amazing and really helped us out on arrival as I accidentally locked us out on the balcony (careful of the Yale Lock on the back door)!"

She arranged to get us a key so that we could get back in quite quickly. Once that calamity was averted, we had an amazing time at this wonderful property. The attention to detail was clear to see throughout the property. Everything had been thought of, for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay again as the location was spot on. 2 mins walk from the Carbis Bay Train Station and a stones throw from the coastal path. It was only about 1.5 miles walk to St Ives on the coastal path and it was very scenic all the way. I think I'd prefer to stay at Carbis Bay over St Ives itself because it's more peaceful, yet St Ives is within very easy reach by train or foot (or car if you can be bothered to faff about with parking)! The sea views everyday from the property are something I'm missing already!

But we enjoyed our break the views were spectacular. A lovely place to stay. We saw dolphins and seals from the sitting room. Parking was extremely tight especially if there was a car in space 1.
