Tucked away in Carbis Bay, Cornwall, is this charming holiday home, Blue Seas.
On an elevated position with rear views of the sea and three bedrooms sleeping six people, the property is perfect for escaping to the seaside with all the comforts of home.
Blue Seas has a porch area to kick off your shoes before settling into the sitting room, where you can relax on the sofas and watch the Smart TV after a long day exploring the coast, whilst the kitchen/diner is the perfect setting for a home-cooked family dinner.
The house also has an external utility room, complete with washing machine, tumble dryer, basin and cloakroom, as well as storage space for keeping beach towels and wetsuits.
For getting ready for the day ahead or settling down for a night’s rest, Blue Seas has everything you need; two double rooms with TVs and storage space, one of which has a lovely Juliette balcony overlooking the sea, and another room with bunk beds and storage space, as well as a family bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower.
Blue Seas boasts an enclosed, multi-level garden with furniture for relaxing in the sunshine or dining alfresco on a warm summer’s evening.
You will also be in an excellent spot for exploring a beautiful part of Cornwall; Carbis Bay is a beautiful seaside resort with plenty of shops for stocking up the cupboards, or pubs and restaurants when you want a break from cooking, as well as a stunning coastline and cliff-top walks.
Blue Seas is also just a short journey away from St. Ives, one of Cornwall’s best loved destinations, offering postcard-perfect views, sandy beaches for surfing the waves or reading in the sun, and plenty of culture to explore in the town, such as Tate St Ives, winding streets bustling with cafés and shops, or hop on the St. Ives railway for one of the most scenic routes in Britain.
Penzance is a short journey south, nestled in Mount’s Bay and a hidden Cornwall gem, with cobbled alleyways, dockside taverns and beautiful gardens to discover; stroll the promenade for dazzling views of the bay or take a dip in the thermo Jubilee pool.
For a great day out, head further south east of Blue Seas to Sennen, a quaint seaside town with historical chapels, wild landscapes and rugged clifftops overlooking the Atlantic, where there are more opportunities for surfing, enjoying a pub dinner or walking the South Coast Path to Land’s End.
Blue Seas will be your home-from-home for a memorable holiday exploring this spectacular part of the world.
