• "Beautifully presented, clean, spacious, great facilities and a marvellous view!"

  The main bed is of great quality and is comfy (firm mattress). The walk down to the beach is easy distance … but what goes down must come up…! I’d definitely recommend this property and would definitely stay there again! Thank you so much! (Becks Fish & Chips are awesome, as is Beer & Bird and Talay Thai!)

  Front bedroom can get a little noisy (steady!) Due to main road to St Ives but nowt that can be done about that. Deffo recommended.

  It was also very spacious, well laid out and positioned within easy reach of the bus stop. Another bonus was the parking space. The welcome pack was a nice touch as were the toiletries.

• "The property is clean, spacious and in a fantastic location."

  The utilities are all very high standard and the owners have provided everything you could want for a stay. The only problem we had was the King size bed is so noisy, every turn or roll over creates noise which affected mine and my partners sleep. I would have given it 5 stars if the bed was good.

• "Our Stay at Bosbrea was fantastic, the view from the balcony was beautiful."

  The apartment was well equipped with everything you could need. The gifts on arrival were a lovely touch. Carbis Bay is a lovely, quiet place,and is a short (steep) walk to the beach and shops. There is a bus stop right outside the apartment to take you to St Ives. It would of been nice to be able to park our car at the apartment, as we arrived too early to check in and our space was available. We had driven for 7 hours. We awaited a phone call to see if we could park up, unfortunately nobody got back to us. We did however park up on tesco, so this wasn't really an issue in the end. We did have a fantastic stay. Thank you Sykes for another unforgettable holiday.

• "This was a brilliant property."

  The location was excellent for a number of reasons including being able to walk to several beaches along quiet footpaths and into St Ives. The facilities in the kitchen area were great and the owners summary instructions on how to use them and the heating - were really helpful. The bender, baking equipment etc meant I could make soup, cakes etc. The view from the property was stunning and it was clean, well maintained and nicely furnished. I had a very enjoyable two week break and would definitely visit again.

• "Lovely apartment."

  Very clean. Great views. Only problem was key collection at this time of year its dark at 5 pm and there was not enough light which made it very difficult to see key code then the flap would not open, luckily there was someone in the office who had to get a knife to prise open otherwise I don’t know what we would have done.

  We thought the open plan apartment together with bedrooms and bathroom were all excellent as were fixtures and fittings. Apartment has onsite parking and is conveniently located for Carbis Bay rail station although quite a steep walk back from the station. We have no problem recommending Bosbrea and will probably return again. Thank you, Carbis Bay holidays."

  It is the first time we have stayed in that part of Cornwall and enjoyed our vist. The accommodation was excellent, everything we had hoped for. We enjoyed reading some of the books in the book case; we’d brought some of our own but read yours instead and enjoyed them. We ate at the Cornish Arms just down the road three times: good food at a good price and very convenient. We also ate at the Seafood Cafe in St Ives and Waves in Penzance.
