• "Directions given from the parking space were incorrect - sent us across the car park and down some stairs - searched and found our flat."

  Had great difficulty opening the fridge door - sore fingertips. Could not find the instructions for the washer/dryer but managed ok.

  The views down to the sea. Nice walk along the beach with the waves early in the week we got some lovely pictures. It was always nice to come back to the flat.

• "A lovely week here, I really enjoyed the view!"

  The beds were comfy and the couch. Everything was clean and tidy nothing dirty. There is loads of room in each room . My favourite thing was the view every morning we would go out and look at the view. It only took ten minutes to walk to the beach. PS I would definitely stay here again.

• "We weren’t able to get a sky connection whilst there, but terrestrial tv was fine."

  Unsure if coffee machine is working as was leaking from the bottom and not able to get it to work. We had a fantastic week at the apartment. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The view was beautiful & a wonderful location to the beach & particularly for the train station. We will be looking to book again next year.

• "It is a really nice well equipped apartment with a great view and would recommend it."

  However, the heating could be turned down a little as it was very warm and the fridge door needs changing round as it is difficult to open due to the handle being on the opposite side to where it opens but a very enjoyable week.

  Apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed for the stay along with a high end finish.The balcony was a great addition with a fantastic view across to St Ives. The location was excellent, easy access to the beach, steep climb back but worth it. You can walk to St Ives or catch the train. Thank you for making our stay really enjoyable and comfortable. Highly recommended apartment.

• "Absolutely amazing stay, just one more tiny thing which isn't a problem."

  The building is build the way that sun isn't ever reaching the balcony. But it didn't affect our holiday and that apartment was absolutely perfect.

  It had everything we needed for our holiday. The only slight problem was that the wi-fi didn't work but after a quick phone call to the holiday company, they were able to offer alternative set up details.

• "Nice apartment and view, good facilities with nice balcony and furniture."

  A few points let the apartment down, the double bed has definitely seen better days, and felt quite saggy, and the Sky TV was a bit hit-and-miss and kept dropping the reception, the apartment did feel quite warm but as it was the end of October not a problem but wouldn't like to stay there in the Summer,

  This was our second visit to the property, views are incredible and appartment is smart and trendy. The only thing I would recommend would be to have some pint glasses at the property for drinking other than that. Great.

• "Overall we really liked staying at Bright Wings however there are a couple of points that would have made our stay better."

  Firstly the single bed mattresses are not very comfortable or supportive. Second, the apartment was extremely warm. On our arrival the heating was on and the apartment was far too hot, we had to open the main window and bedroom windows to get some cool air into the apartment. We then turned off all of the thermostats to try to reduce the temperature but the bathrooms remained very warm which resulted in the apartment getting to warm. we couldn’t work out how to turn the boiler off but keep the hot water on. i appreciate that some guests would want a warm apartment but considering that the weather is still warm, the inside temperature was too high and must be costing the owner a lot to heat. Overall we liked the apartment and it’s location. Would recommend.

• "Amazing property, everything you need for a self-catering stay."

  View of the beach from balcony was beautiful. Loved sitting out there both morning and night. Property was very clean and lovely touch with shortbread, chocolate and fresh apple juice on arrival! Perfect location to walk to Carbis Bay beach or to catch the train to St Ives. Would definitely stay here again.

  Bright Wings had everything to make a very comfortable stay. We loved waking up every morning to the stunning view from the balcony. We can highly recommend the Old Forge Bistro and Una Kitchen for meals out if you can not get into local restaurants. We'll be back soon Cornwall!

  Everything you would need in an accommodation was available. Clean rooms, entertainment and games. Beds are really comfy. Short walk to the beach and train station. Stayed in Carbis Bay before a few times and this accommodation tops them all.

  I absolutely love the view and I can see St Ives. The waves in St Ives were amazing and the same here in Carbis Bay. Everything is brilliant! If there was a place which I could chooses to go to, it would be Carbis Bay.

• "The apartment was way too hot!"

  ! The first two nights were unbearable. I raised this with the management company and their answer was not satisfactory and I came to my own conclusion to turn the heating off altogether. The instructions in the welcome guide did not make sense and the management company could not explain to me how the heating worked. I would like to make a complaint about this as I hardly slept the first night due to the heat. Secondly, it was noted that there was Sky TV available at the property. We were disappointed as was expecting this to include Sky sports. We have stayed at one of your other properties which listed Sky and it did include the sports channel. Other than that, it was a very comfortable apartment, but the heating really needs to be sorted out.

• "We have had a lovely week in this very comfortable apartment which has such a beautiful view."

  Throughout all furnishings and equipment are of a high standard, well organised and exceptionally clean, all has been carefully thought through. The beds are so comfy! Just one comment - the second bedroom is short of storage space and a chest of drawers in place of the chair would be really helpful, as would a bedside table with lamp next to the bed nearest the door. We did try this and it does enhance the room. We walked into St Ives and used the train several times, so easy and such helpful staff. The walk down to the beach (and back) is challenging but so worth it! Thank you Bright Wings, we would love to stay again.

• "We normally stay either in St Ives or Gwithian and was 1st time in Carbis Bay."

  Not very keen on steep walk to and from beach so largely went into St Ives or drove to Godrevy/Gwithian. We booked latish because of cancellation of trip to South Africa and felt lucky to find this apartment which was new onto your books. Wasn't able to see any pictures on website and would have been useful to know that balcony is quite small in comparison to others and sits back into building which restricts view a bit. Given our circumstances we would still have booked but would have been nice to know. Apartment was very good and well equipped. Would have preferred higher / dining seating/outdoor furniture on balcony like most of the other apartments. We were there for 3 weeks and would have appreciated a planned weekly clean / linen change. We did ring and get a change after 12 days but this should have been pre organised. Overall a good stay and service from the company. Thank you
