Well located peaceful quite location close to the beech/train station Tescos..St Ives would consider returning to this property . when we found the iron wasn't working made a call and we had a brand new iron delivered within 24 hrs.10 mins walk to Carbis bay beech down a fairly steep hill.I would recommend this property to my friends and family...

  • "It stated that there was a garage for 1 car however there is a pool table in the garage so it was not usable."

Everything else was great from the welcoming pack and food, the cleanliness of the house and all the facilities. Would definitely recommend it to other people.

Dear Mr Child, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us your feedback, as it is very important to us! We are pleased to hear you had a great stay and would recommend staying at Glenside House to other people. We apologise if the garage parking description was misleading. Mould on the walls and mildew on blinds meant it was damp. 2 bedrooms and 1 sitting room were unusable

which is a shame because the house is in a lovely location

Dear Ms Vinnicombe, We would like to thank you for submitting your feedback for your stay at Glenside House in October. We would like to make you aware that we always hope that our guests enter our property with a high cleanliness. Please be assured we have fed back to housekeeper points you raised. Unfortunately Carbis Bay Holidays weren’t made aware of these issues during your stay which makes it difficult for us to deal with situations like this proactively after your departure. Had you reported these issues to us your stay we would have done our utmost to resolve them for you as quickly as possible. We sincerely hope that we have the opportunity to invite you back in the future. Kind Regards, Owner Relations, Carbis Bay Holidays Property Owner

  • "We would have liked to have taken advantage of the discount for the Tate but the gallery told us we need to speak to someone at your office but this was not manned."

You need to change the instructions or make different arrangements if this is something you are publicising. The house was really excellent and would recommend it. A couple of extra things in the kitchen would have been helpful. Namely:- A cafetiere or provide filter papers for the filter machine. A bread board or another chopping board would be good. Otherwise very well equipped and a comfortable and wonderful location. We enjoyed having the garden area and covered area to eat outside. Thank you
