However it could do with a deep clean and outside furniture needs refurbishing or replacement. Would benefit from a drier for washing and tv in bedrooms.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Innisfree."

The house had everything we needed and was really comfortable. The location is fantastic for the beach, railway station, supermarket, and the sea view is lovely. The cotbed provided for our baby boy was clean and he slept really well in it. The highchair however, was quite dirty, with dried food in the plastic clips and badly stained straps, maybe time for a replacement. The washing machine was very handy, as were the airers, next time i won't pack as many clothes! Although we didn't have great weather, it was made much more bearable by staying in a lovely, cosy house. We plan to return! Thank you for a great stay.

Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We will look into the mentioned with regards to the highchair in the property and hope to get the opportunity to welcome you back soon in Carbis Bay. With Kind Regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

A bbq and garden seating would have been nice but appreciate not everyone leaves these in the state they find. It did not stop us from having a lovely time and would def return. House is a great location...walk down to coastal train, carbis beach or very short walk up to bus

Thank you for your feedback, we are glad to hear you had a lovely stay, we will be sure to pass your suggestions onto the owner for their consideration. We hope to welcome you back to Carbis Bay Holidays again in the future. Kind regards The Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner

Appreciated the gardens and off road parking compared to how built up other holiday properties can be. Only suggested improvement is to add a window over the dining table

  • "Lovely property."

All fine with just a few niggles. The previous residents left their rubbish behind, so we reported it. It took us several days to work out how to get the water hot enough for a bath. Some instructions would have been helpful. Using the TV was problematic to say the least. It said this in the information. Why not fix the problem!!! Seating in living area - and benches around the dining table - were not ideal for a group of 70+ year olds, fit but with fragile backs. Having said all this, we would still return to the property, and loved the six days of coastal walking we did.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very pleased you enjoyed your stay and would like to return. We thank you for your comments and can assure you that we will look into these closely to improve. Please note that we are currently in the process of updating the "Quick Start Guides" in the properties and the team are also always available to help deal with any issues during your stay on 01736 630015 option 2 and would do what we can to resolve them as soon as possible. We hope to get the opportunity to welcome you back soon. With Kind Regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

It’s a lovely house, with plenty of room for children, parents and grandparents. It feels really luxurious and everything is high quality. The walk back up from the beach was a lot easier this year now the children are a little older, and the adults felt fitter by the end of the week! It’s only a short walk to the station, so getting the train to and from St Ives was really easy.

Thank you for your feedback following your recent stay at Innisfree. We are delighted you have come for a second visit and had a wonderful holiday. Kindest Regards The Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Innisfree."

As soon as you walk in, you are struck by the amazing views at the back of the house. The house offers everything you need to be more then comfortable. We travelled as a family of 4 with 2 small children (4 & 1). The addition of a high chair & cot was super helpful and really helped us out. The house was nice & clean upon arrival & beautifully laid out ready for us - key collection was a breeze. Wonderfully positioned with a hilly walk down to Carbis bay beach - or over to the train station for a 2 minute train ride to St Ives. We would not hesitate to recommend a stay at Innisfree. My only helpful suggestions would be - to tether the TV (useful when small children are staying).

Dear Mrs Murray, thank you for your considerate and practical Feedback following your recent holiday at Innisfree and we are pleased to hear you and your family really enjoyed your stayed . I have passed your comment regarding the TV to our Property Management dept for their attention. We do hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back again in the future. • "Innisfree is a beautiful house, the standard is very high and we felt at home straight away, however there was a glaring omission in the house's description ."

There is no mention that there is a major building site two hundred from the bottom of the garden and a very tall crane , these are all in operation six days a week. This completely spoils the peace and the view over Carbis bay. Surely Sykes should notify customers of this development when booking

Dear Mr Ward, Thank you very much for your feedback, which is very important to us. The building work has been ongoing for a while but only recently appears to have been pushing ahead at a considerable pace. We have spoken to the owner of the property and have included a notice on the website to inform guests that there is building work being carried out at the Cottage Hotel which is across Carbis Valley through the trees. The owner has said that they will be ordering a blind for the family bathroom so guests have privacy and we hope that the building work will be completed by latter end of 2022, it looks like the work is getting to roof height and therefore the work will begin on the internal structure which would minimise disruption to guests. We hope this will not deter you from booking in the future. Kind regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

The 3 bedrooms provide great flexibility and the views over the coast are phenomenal. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-equipped and extremely welcoming. It was just like a home-from-home. The kids loved the garden and we loved the sunny terrace! The location is brilliant - just a short hop down to the beach and so close to the station for weary legs in the evening if you fancy eating out in St. Ives but don't fancy the walk. We shall definitely be back for more adventures and exploration!"
