  • "Basin in the bathroom was slow to empty (partial blockage)."

Nice bathroom cabinet with mirror and (3) lights. The (2) at the bottom worked OK. The top one which would have lit the bathroom well did not work which meant that the main light & Vent fan had to be switch on. Vent fan was very noisy. which at night must have upset the people above. Good information books on the regulations and equipment usage.

Dear Nicholas, we are pleased to hear you enjoyed your holiday at Kissingmoon. We have passed your comments onto our Property Management team to have a look into. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to Cornwall in the near future. Kindest Regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner

Although the fan doesn’t go on for too long. Lovely apartment and no problems would stay again.

  • "Good location for us,2 mins from train station and short walk to beach."

Apartment was well equipped with new kitchen items, which we used when cooking.Very comfortable bed and sofa. Keys were easy to find in car park keys safe. Only slight criticism to stop getting 5 stars, found a few dog hairs around but not many. No recycling facilities, everything goes in 1 wheelie bin. The central heating and towel rail I never managed to get working.BUT the weather was mild when we stayed in October and we don't like a hot bedroom when sleeping so we didn't need it.If winter and cold then I may of had to contact someone to get it on for us.Water was fine though. Would definitely stay again.Reasonable priced.

Thank you very much for your taking the time to leave such informative Feedback. We are sorry to hear of the dog hairs and have advised the Housekeeper that looks after the property of this. With regards to the central heating and towel rails, the instructions to operative these are in the Quick Start Guide in the property. For future refence, if you are staying at a Carbis Bay Holidays property and have an issue, please do not hesitate to call our office on 01736 630015 and one of our local team will be happy to assist. We look forward to welcoming you back again in the future. Best wishes, the Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner

  • "The location of the property and the appliances in the home were great."

We had everything we needed. However the damage throughout the property and damp in the bedroom was not acceptable especially when it states in the contract you could be charged for damage to the home. The bathroom door was off so the door couldn’t be closed or locked, there was marks all over the sofa, rug and walls. There was damp in the bedroom and would had a small baby with us. The amount of money the property will have generated this summer means there isn’t really an excuse to now have it looking too notch.

Hi Louise We are sorry that our property didn't meet your expectations, sadly we don't agree with your comments but take them on board. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future and wish you luck. Property Owner

  • "The apartment is lovely but two things marred the stay - mould growing in the bedroom and weeds and dead plants in pots on the patio which suggested poor upkeep and presentation of the property."

Thank you for your constructive comments, we have addressed them. We look forward to welcoming you in the future. Property Owner

  • "A comfortable, clean, spacious and very well equipped apartment with goodies to welcome guests."

Also had good wifi. We enjoyed our stay there and would recommend the apartment. However I think the description needs to qualify the statement of being on the 'ground floor' as there are 19 steps down from the entrance door to the block to apartment 5 and this may present problems for those with limited mobility. A grab rail in the shower would be a good safety measure.

Thank you very much for your feedback as it is very important to us! We are pleased you enjoyed your stay at Kissingmoon and would recommend booking the property to other people. With regards to the steps, this is noted in the access details of the property description on the website, so guests are aware of these prior to making a booking. It states there that access to the property from the car parking area is down 19 internal carpeted steps and a detailed access statement is available on request. We thank you again for you feedback and hope to welcome you back in the future. Kind regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

  • "Lovely clean and comfortable apartment."

In particular bed was very comfortable. Courtyard was nice and private and allowed us to leave doors open for air. Apartment is kitted out with everything you would need in a home and made our stay so comfortable. Very quiet and nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of st Ives which was only 3 minutes away…train station close by very convenient. Not related to the apartment but carbis bay beach is reached by a very steep hill and is not suitable for those with mobility issues. Can drive but car park is expensive although you can drop off. We would definitely return to this apartment.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your lovely Feedback following your recent holiday at Kissingmoon and we are especially pleased to hear you found the bed very comfortable. We do hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back again in the future. Kind regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner

(I don't count the glimpse from the corner of the car park!)

Dear Mrs Thorpe, Thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback. We would like to confirm that the property is listed as seaward facing, we are not aware that it is stated to have sea views, but please don't hesitate to let us know if you have seen this stated elsewhere. We always endeavor to keep the expectation realistic, and we are sorry for the disappointment caused. Kind Regards, Carbis Bay Holidays Property Owner

  • "The apartment is lovely and very well equipped so much so that there was no spare cupboard/shelf to store groceries, a minor point."

We did struggle with the door lock and there were occasions when it seemed that we wouldn't be able to get back in so maybe worthwhile having it checked out. The arrival details weren't forwarded until the day before we were due to arrive and after I had e'mailed for them and did cause a little confusion; apartment 5, parking spot 6 with the keysafe at the parking spot. There is no keysafe at 6 but as there is at 5.......

    Reviewed by Karen4.7Jul 2021

  • "The key collection details are inaccurate."

In the e-mail it states that "space marked No 6 for the apartment." whereas the space is no.5 the same as the appartment no. and that is where the key safe is found. I think the outside sitting area experience could be improved given that it is a kind of an outdoor bunker.Such things as climbing plants, mirrors, painting some of the walls all of which would not cost a lot would make sitting outside an even more pleasant experience.
