  We had a lovely time! It is impossible to fault this beautiful apartment! So cosy and well equipped, cosy and comfortable. Loved watching the wild swimmers on Boxing Day - great view from the balcony. Loved our stay and have already recommended it to friends. Until the next time.

• "The property was amazing, beautiful surroundings and equipped with everything we needed."

  We had a lovely time but the whole experience was a bit spoilt at the end. On the morning when we were leaving my husband was loading the car with the last bits at 9.55 when a lady pulled up in the car park and quite aggressively indicated she needed our parking space. My husband moved the car and the lady parked her car there. Then she came upstairs and barged in without saying a word. I was standing in the hall with a baby and had to ask her to step back so I could leave the property. She was extremely rude, we were practically kicked out and all this happened at 2 minutes past 10.

  Thank you very much for your comment following your recent holiday at Sea Mist and we are so pleased to hear you had a lovely time and that you thought the property was amazing. We are however extremely sorry to hear of your experience with the cleaner on your departure day and we apologise for this. As I am sure you appreciate it is a particularly busy time of year and the cleaning teams are enthusiastic to turn their properties around efficiently for in-coming guests but unfortunately they were a little too keen on this occasion. We have brought this to the attention of the Housekeeper that looks after Sea Mist and asked her to reiterate to her team that this was not acceptable.   Probably our 30th time to Carbis Bay/St Ives and Sea Mist is one of the best. Top recommendation - follow the cliff walk to Lelant and have a fantastic lunch at Birdies. Enjoy.

• "Absolute perfection with spectacular position and views."

  Very thoughtfully planned and furnished to ensure a home from home feeling. We enjoyed the peace, hearing only gulls, the train and the waves, however, St Ives was only a 20 minute walk away on a beautiful path through the trees. Sea Mist is ideally situated to explore the area by car, train, bus or on foot. We were sorry to leave and will be back. Many thanks.

• "The best apartment we have stayed in - amazing view of the whole of Carbis Bay."

  I loved waking up to see the beach from the comfort of my bed. The accommodation was well equipped including games, jigsaws and beach toys. We were able to park the car in the grounds of the apartment block and walk to the beach down the coastal path which runs at the bottom of the garden. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and communal areas were well maintained. It is a shame that since Carbis Bay Holidays joined forces with a larger company that prices have gone up by 60 per cent or more. The prices are so ridiculous that we have not booked again.

• "Main bedroom mattress is very hard."

  Only one set of towels in main bedroom. Probably an oversight, so luckily second bedroom had towels. Cleanliness throughout the apartment was very good except underneath the sofa!!

• "*** Dishwasher in Full Working Order*** The dishwasher door was not working from the day we arrived."

  Your local team advised it wouldn’t be fixed due to a part. It must have been know about before we arrived so we should have been told. The local team did call me about it but the guy didn’t seem that bothered and just said nothing they could do. So we had to wash up manually all week which I don’t expect to do on holiday!! So this did put a dampener in things. We go on holiday to relax and forget about household chores. I did ask for a goodwill gesture, but the guy didn’t think that was important and didn’t seem to be interested.
