    A lovely bungalow, great for a large party or two families. Very good amenities like a home from home. The only downside was the gateway and driveway, it's very difficult to get in and out of.

There is a lovely walk down to the village of Cargreen, where you can either continue walking along the Tamar, do a spot of fishing or go sailing or canoeing on the river upstream to Cotehele, a fabulous National Trust house and garden with pretty quayside tea room, or you may wish to travel downstream towards the spectacular Royal Albert Bridge at Saltash, built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel.

The long sandy beach of Whitsand Bay is a 20 minute drive from your Cargreen cottage, or why not visit the traditional Cornish fishing harbours at Looe and Polperro?

Families will enjoy the numerous tourist attractions such as the Eden Project and Antony House, or you may wish to visit the China Fleet Country Club with golf, swimming and beauty treatments on offer.

The village of Cargreen occupies a very pretty waterside location on the banks of the River Tamar, four miles north of Saltash, in south east Cornwall. Cargreen has a waterside pub, friendly sailing club and a community book exchange in a disused telephone box, and there is a lovely friendly country pub, one mile away in the village of Botus Fleming. Cargreen is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where you can take fabulous walks along some of the most unspoilt riverside scenery. The popular National Trust properties of Cotehele and Antony are both a short drive away, plus the nearby village of St Mellion includes the International Golf Resort. Downstream from Cargreen is China Fleet Country Club, with fabulous river views, offering a range of sporting and leisure activities and further afield are sandy beaches, harbourside villages and the historic city of Plymouth.
