Polcreek Cottage is a fine detached traditional built house on two levels hidden down a secluded private track 1¼ miles from Veryan.
It is in the most tranquil, rural setting with long views seaward, and a mile walk across fields from the magnificent Carne and Pendower sandy beaches.
Step from the small entrance hall into the cosy living room, which has an open fire for hunkering down after a long coastal walk.
On the other side of the hall is the dining room which has an open fire and leads to the well-equipped kitchen and cosy oil-fired Aga.
Just outside the back door is a shower-room – great for washing sandy/salty bodies.
Head upstairs to the three bedrooms, all with sea views – a king-size double with washbasin, a twin with washbasin and a small twin with pull-out single.
Also a family bathroom.
In front, a beautiful, well stocked cottage garden with paths and steps up to a rough mown woodland area and, to one side, a terrace with table and chairs for those sundowners.
A remote and beautiful setting close to stunning beaches and cliff walks and a great spot for memorable family holidays.
If you can drag yourself away nearby St.Mawes and Mevagissey are worth a visit, along with the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project.

Veryan is a picturesque village located on the Roseland Peninsula in Cornwall. This historic village is home to the famous Round Houses built in the 19th Century and The New Inn, a traditional 16th Century Cornish Inn, which provides quality fine food and drink. Nearby is The Roseland Heritage coast and several safe, sandy beaches. The coastal path winds its way over the cliffs and down among the coves through some of the UK’s most spectacular scenery. Even the wilder north coast with its rolling surf is just 40 minutes' by car.
Note: Last 100 yards of private access lane is rough. Sorry, no short breaks
