“We were disappointed that the WIFI was not sorted, and felt that it shouldn't be advertised as having it.”
We couldn't see any existing connection for this at all, and WIfI was partly why we chose this property.
The property itself was fine however the furniture was rather dated and a bit tatty and we were disappointed at first. It really wouldn't take much to improve things, ie the wardrobes wouldn't stay closed except for tissue paper stuffed in them? They are charming but need mending. The curtains were all almost falling off too.
We didn't use the downstairs of the property at all except for the tumble drier and front door. It would have been much more useful to have the back door key instead. There were a lot of cobwebs downstairs in the bedroom.
Saying that, the position was wonderful, and we loved having the calves so close by, and watched for the daily feeding ritual!!
So so peaceful, just cows, rabbits, foxes and birds for company ( except for the holiday residents of the farmhouse next door of course)
Despite the few flaws, I would still recommend a break at this property, especially if you crave a bit of peace. You do have to be pretty good at driving in very narrow country roads though. Some absolutely lovely pubs and villages on the Lizard and the local pub in Manaccan, the New Inn was delightful.
