• "There was a few little problems, the front windows were very drafty and when we opened the right hand side one the hinge was rusty , we know it was very windy but also the noise from the dining room window side was very annoying, not sure where it was coming from but may have been from the extraction vent in the bathroom , also the second bedroom needs blackout blinds as we could not differentiate from night and day , but saying all this we had great time as we have for the last 3 years at this time of year ."

• "The only downside was the connnection didn’t work on the television so some nights the television kept going on and off and the Wi-Fi was very weak but the holiday accommodation was excellent and very cosy and we really enjoyed our week ."

• "A wonderful stay in a lovely apartment!"

  The view is amazing! The beach is a few minutes walk away and St.Ives is a 4 minutes train journey away (Carbis Bay train Station is very close). Well worth it.

• "The overall feedback is positive, the flat is beautiful and the view is amazing."

  A bit more attention to details would have made the experience extremely positive. 1. Lack of blackout blinds in the bedroom with twin beds has been an issue. It required 4 telephone calls to customer service to have help. 2. The flat was clean but not to high standards . 3. Tumble dryer filter full above limits therefore not clean to use. 4. There is possibly some dump behind the wardrobe of the second bedroom. Clothes became very smelly. I would highlight that this may be a problems for people having mold allergy and/or a condition called MCAS. Happy for you to publish the feed-back if you wish.

• "We loved our stay at Golden Heights."

  It was out of season so considerably quieter than at peak times, but this suited us. The property was very impressive, in a great location with a fantastic view. It’s very well appointed, perfectly comfortable and with all the appliances and style of decor you would expect in an apartment of this calibre. Also the complimentary tea, coffee and milk was appreciated. The only minus points for us was a wish that the front door to the property could have been a touch more secure with possibly an inside bolt or safety chain and that the toilet roll holder in the main bathroom could be fixed to the wall more robustly. Not out and out problems by any stretch though and in no way did this detract from our enjoyment of a very luxuriously appointed property. I would recommend it thoroughly.

• "3rd visit and whilst we love the flat we found some crockery is chipped, not enough glasses, and floors weren’t as clean as previous visits En-suite smells damp and sealant looks in need of refreshing Good to see blackout blind has been fitted in bedroom with en-suite, one in the second bedroom would be a good addition due to outside light On the whole we love staying here and will be back, these bits would just make it perfect!"

• "The property is lovely, the tv takes some working out as channels hard to find , would prefer to have some sort of blackout curtains in the bedrooms as the lights outside the apartment stays on all night so does not go dark at all ."

• "What can we say."

  When when we first arrived and saw the apartments and street view was not sure what to expect. Once inside....The pictures do not do this property justice!! Wow!! The view from the lounge stunning just an amazing beautiful apartment with extra little welcome gifts to welcome us, so thoughtful that after just over 7 hours driving. It was home from home and all ages catered for at the apartment, bonus of DVDs TV channels, wifi, weather was kind to us though prior looking at forecast we expected rain all week. Only the last day it rained but that was not going to stop us!! well placed to explore all around. First time in Cornwall and first time booked with Sykes was not too sure what to expect, definitely will not be the last for sure. Absolutely loved our holiday and stay at Golden Heights Breath taking as soon as walked in and we both had sad faces when had to leave. To Sykes for having and sharing this gem of a place to stay. To the owner, what an absolute privilege for us you share your apartment for others to enjoy and stay in. Thank you!! Cannot recommend this apartment enough. • "Lovely apartment with great facilities and the view… just wow!"

  However, we didn’t sleep very well as the bedrooms do not have proper blinds or curtains. The maintenance light outside the main bedroom really didn’t help the situation, especially as it needed changing and was constantly flickering, making sleep almost impossible. I would also suggest checking the fan in the en-suite as it makes an annoying sound when it’s windy.

• "Wonderful stay here at Golden heights, the apartment is much larger than it appears on the photos, everything you could need is provided and the free standing bath is perfect for a relaxing evening!"

  The parking is adjacent to the property as opposed to being across the road with some of the other spaces. You are a 1 minute walk from the station and a 2 minute walk to the beach. We will certainly be coming again!

• "A fabulous escape in a beautiful apartment with spectacular views."

  Golden heights felt like home from home, the apartment has excellent facilities and offers a luxury feel. Any issues raised were dealt with promptly. Both the owner and Cameron’s customer service was next to none. We felt well looked after. We will definitely come back.

• "An absolutely beautiful apartment- great facilities and unbeatable views!"

  !! Very convenient for station to get to St Ives. We stayed with our 9 and 5 year old who loved it too. A few things to help further improve the stay: - more hangers would be helpful - may be some drawers- storage for our clothes was slightly lacking. - hooks on doors to hang towels/clothes. We would absolutely love to stay again! Shame to see the price has increased, but well worth it!!!

• "V helpful responses from Cameron Henderson when we had a couple of issues - thank you."

  Though, with the lack of direct house keeper number to text (as in previous years), or email address, it was frustrating not to be able to raise an issue until the Monday morning when you lines opened. If we were only staying a week that would be a couple of days of the holiday gone before we could raise an issue (not wanting to use the 'emergencies only' number). (Our key issue in this case was tv not working.)

• "Problems with TV and internet."

  TV needs internet connection which was erratic even after extender fitted after complaint logged. Visited local office to raise these issues and was informed by a member of staff that "WiFi is complimentary" although WiFi availability is listed as a property feature and one we always check when booking. Cannot fault property view and other facilities but have also realised since booking that your reviews listed on website are all favourable and that any review we leave 'may' be used on your website. Please ensure ALL reviews are listed to make people aware.

• ""We have just enjoyed a week walking the cliff tops and beaches in this beautiful part of Cornwall."

  The apartment was very comfortable. The beds are comfy, the main bathroom is very spacious. The kitchen is well equipped and the view looking over Carbis Bay are spectacular. There were only a couple of things we though could have made it even better, there isn't much storage for clothes and no hooks in the bathroom or in the hallway for coats. A black out blind would be handy in the master bedroom due to a security light which shines in through the blind all night. We have stayed in a couple of the other Gwel Martin apartments, Gold Heights is the most luxurious."
