    We would suggest that for people without sat nav your directions should be amended as the golf club mentioned in them no longer exists and is in fact a new housing complex. The directions could state that on leaving Tavistock on the road between 2 banks to proceed approximately for 3 miles until a signposted left turn is reach and turn left..The remainder of your directions are correct i.e proceed about a mile along this road until a crossroads is reached with Acorn Cottage on the right and then turn right for about 100 yards into the site.
