  • "A great holiday was had by all."

Thank you for the additional items that helped us - a spare deckchair, bucket and spade, little plasters even wetsuit! There was great attention to detail and well thought through extras. Good clear instructions as to how to manage the house. Thank you.

  • "I cannot even begin to tell you how disappointed I was with the place."

The dishwasher didn’t work when we arrived (sign on dishwasher door) and this was never fixed during our Stay, I spoke to your team and the maintenance team snd no one was helpful… in fact rude and no apology what so ever. The main oven didn’t work, but I didn’t find this out till day3! And didn’t bother reporting because I knew it wouldn’t be dealt with. On arrival the house wasn’t very clean, spiders and huge cobwebs everywhere! The house felt like it hadn’t been used gor awhile as smelt musty as well. The house is invested with spiders , it’s a real problem and they are in the beds and crawl on you still night etc… the house needs a good deep clean. The beds were the most uncomfortable beds we have ever had in a holiday rental ( we have stayed in loads!) especially the bed I. The main bedroom which is like a marshmallow…. I slept in it on the first night, my back hurt so much the next day, so I spent the rest of the week sleeping on the sofa. In fact we left a day early as we desperately needed a good nights sleep. Your standards are not high enough for a holiday rental and I feel very disappointed with my stay. I will not be using your company again and will most certainly never recommend. Your customer service is probably the worst I have ever come across.

'Thank you for your feedback. Whilst I understand you are disappointed, I would like to take the opportunity to reply to your comments. Unfortunately, during a very busy summer period, the dishwasher broke and we were not notified until changeover day. We booked a mechanic to visit and then ordered a new one when it could not be repaired. Unfortunately as this was the height of summer in Cornwall, this took 7 days for a new one. We endeavour to make sure we fix any thing which is broken as quickly as possible for our guests. The cooker was working, unfortunately we were not able to give you guidance how to work it as you did not raise this issue With regards to the beds, we have been letting the property for 4 years and until now have not received a complaint. Following your feedback, we have checked all the beds and made sure they are comfortable and suitable for use. I am sorry you are disappointed with the cobwebs and spiders. We raised this with our cleaning company and they have made the necessary changes to the cleaning procedures to make sure this does not happen again'. Property Owner
