  • "The Granary was the perfect home from home."

Comfortable, clean and well equipped. Situated in beautiful gardens which meant a beautiful walk with our dog to start every day from our doorstep. Owners Jenny and Paul are great hosts friendly and helpful. Could not praise them more. Definitely would book again can not wait to go back.

  • "The property is immaculate, superb attention to detail with everything at one’s fingertips to facilitate a wonderful holiday."

The owners had literally thought of everything! The owners were always on hand and very warm and friendly, offered us some very good tips about where to go, where to park and things of interest. In terms of their presence, they got the balance just right. Thanks again for helping to make our much needed break away so special.

thank you for your lovely comments which are much appreciated. It was delightful to have you here and we know that Dennis the Beagle (or Sir Dennis!) enjoyed his time too. Look forward to seeing you again any time. Paul and Jenny Property Owner

  • "The saying goes “it’s nice to go away but it’s also nice to come back home” but in this case we were sad to leave this wonderful place."

We had a great 7 day break and being almost in the centre of Cornwall it was the ideal location to stay. The Granary is set in beautiful and relaxing surroundings. A big thank you to Paul, Jenny and Earnie for making us feel welcome. Oh, and the cream scones were delicious. Hope to see you again soon.

  • "Location of The Granary was excellent and allowed us to tour many beautiful areas of Cornwall."

The Granary had everything we needed including some lovely gardens that the dogs enjoyed walking around. Good communications with Jenny and Paul (the owners), they wanted to ensure everything was to our expectations. Wifi worked really well and allowed us to stream videos - a must nowadays - even when on holiday! I would highly recommend the London Inn in the village, good food and beer at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend and if coming back to the area would have no hesitation in using again.

  • "Firstly Paul and Jenny were so welcoming and friendly."

Made sure we were there safely and were always available if we needed any help. The gardens were spacious and lovely, even had ducks in the lake to feed. The cottage was lovely, clean, and comfy. We had a welcome gift waiting for us.There was more items in the cottage than we expected. Only suggestion would be a itemised list of what was included within the cottage. Washing machine was a great addition for us over our 2 weeks. It was so tranquil and peaceful. The gardens are a must to explore. Perfect location to explore Cornwall with its central location and close to the A30. It was one of the nicest places we have stayed, and Paul and Jenny deserve a lot of credit. This will be our first place to try when we return.

It is in an ideal location to explore Cornwall with the A30 within a few minutes drive. Paul and jenny are the perfect hosts ensuring everything is ok and nothing is too much trouble. The grounds are great for walking a dog. Paul keeps bees so if you are lucky you may get to sample the homemade honey. This is the best self catering accommodation I have been to in Cornwall and will 100% return here
