“Dissapointed with first impression .”
The exterior was dirty,Front yard and windows. Dead pot plants and hanging baskets gave a poor first impression. In side the house was well equipped but tired and in need of a good clean. After inspecting the beds the sheets were old and full of black Bobbles. I had to purchase my own to feel comfortable. We had to complain and have the cleaner in on Sunday as below all the beds was a build up of thick dust and hair. This must have been there for some time. We had to have workmen in on the Monday as the shower was not working and the owner advised us on arrival that he had organized a plumber to sort it Monday. 4 adults long car journey and no shower was an inconvenience. We did complain to the owner about the house being dirty . He did arrange for the cleaner to come in to rectify , I did tell him about the sheets and having to buy my own. He had ample time to organize fresh sheets but failed to do anything. He didn't even contact us to see if we were happy after the cleaner had been in or if the shower was OK after the repair. I would not recommend or return to that property. Very dissapointed. We have taken photos to back up our complaint.

About the location
St Ives 8 miles.
One of Cornwall’s most popular holiday areas. The spectacular sweep of Mount’s Bay, from the cliffside fishing village of Mousehole through Penzance and around to beautiful Marazion, hides a wealth of sandy beaches, rocky coves, winding village streets and other places to visit and explore. Connected by causeway to the shore at Marazion is the National Trust’s stunningly beautiful St Michael’s Mount with its hilltop castle and Mediterranean gardens. Walk across at low water and take one of the ferry boats back when the tide is up. Penzance with its winding streets, shops, clubs, restaurants and harbour is a must as is the jumping-off point for day trips to the Scilly Isles. The South West Coast Path passing through Penzance winds its way along the clifftops towards Land’s End. On the way, stop off for a coffee and a rest at beautiful Lamorna Cove, explore the open air Minack Theatre and marvel at the cliffs as you approach Gwennap Head. A stunning walk for those seeking solitude, exercise and some of the UK’s best coastal scenery. Penzance is the perfect holiday base. Ideally placed for exploring this land of Celtic myth and legend and with enough to do and see in the immediate area to keep all the family occupied.
