“Lovely stay at Glen Cottage, Gunwalloe”

This was our 2nd holiday in Glen Cottage, our 1st being in August 1993! This time round we had a lovely stay despite the appalling weather. Many memories were recalled this time round. The garden is extensive, colourful and beautiful - in all weathers!

This was our 2nd holiday in Glen Cottage, our 1st being in August 1993! This time round we had a lovely stay despite the appalling weather. Many memories were recalled this time round. The garden is extensive, colourful and beautiful - in all weathers! Mark Brown, the owner and host, is very helpful and caring with good local knowledge. Mark very kindly gave us some cuttings from the superb garden at Glen Cottage.

Gunwalloe is near to Mullion which is a large village on the Lizard Peninsula, the most southerly tip of mainland Britain. The village is home to a selection of popular restaurants, shops and pubs, Mullion Meadows Chocolate Factory and coffee shop, as well as Mullion Cove, a pretty working harbour. Helston is a pleasant, busy market town famous for its Flora Day Festival and the fascinating Helston Folk Museum and the very popular Flambards theme park.
