I went to open the window in the bathroom after having a shower and a massive swarm of flies came in, it seems that they were nesting in the window frames...i thought this was a one off just on that window. However, the next day i went to open one of the window's just off from the dining area and again a massive swarm of flies came in from the window frames, not exaggerating but it was over 60 odd flies... The owners might need to look into this for future guests... apart from that the cottage was absolutely gorgeous and i would most definitely recommend anyone to stay at the Thatch Cottage.

Very quiet, hidden away in the countryside it is the perfect place to relax. Unfortunately, the weather was unkind to us this time but staying in the cottage was a pleasure. Was sorry to leave.

Extremely well equipped and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. It is worth pointing out it is a little out of Coverack but that didn't bother us. But you would need a car. I would definitely go back. I loved it.

It felt like a home- amazingly stocked/ equipped kitchen in particular. Walks/ runs in the area are great and Coverack is a wonderful place. We enjoyed the walk to Helford. Walking to lizard in another sunny day was also amazing-beautiful stop off in Cadgwith on our way.

With a contemporary and homely feel throughout, the cottage offers a super space to relax and socialise.

The spacious sitting/dining room forms the heart of the house where you can catch up on the day's events in front of a roaring fire, you will also find books, DVDs and games for the children and if you need some peace and quiet there is also a study.

Upstairs, the three beautifully presented bedrooms with crisp linens and fluffy towels complete the picture.

Swing open the windows to the glorious cottage garden and distant sea views.

You can also try out kayaking or windsurfing in the sheltered water of Coverack windsurfing centre.

For a less energetic option relax and unwind with a pampering session at the luxury health spa set within the beautiful surroundings of the nearby Trelowarren Estate.

The popular beaches of Polurrian, Gunwalloe and Kynance Cove are most definitely worth a visit as is the quaint fishing cove of Cadgwith.
