  • "There is far too much clutter in drawers."

Far too many plates and old cutlery. No potato peeler. Clear out some of the junk and leave the best pieces and Vacuum cleaner cable repaired with sticky tape. A definite health and safety issue. Television can only pick up bbc. In the plus side we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The retro look was charming. The water heater super efficient. It was lovely to have biscuits milk and tea available in arrival. Potential customers should be warned that the cottage is not suitable for the less agile because of the steep stairs and deep drop into the cottage.

  • "We really loved staying there."

It’s what it is, an old cottage by the sea. I think it’s fine the way it is. To modernise it would be a pity. I am glad it had a shower as well as a bath. An ideal location. Can’t fault it really. Thank you for a lovely place to stay with my grandchildren Mary Edwards

  • "Lewcott is a traditional thatched cottage in the heart of Sennen Cove with an old style charm and decor."

We loved its quirky ambiance and it had everything we needed, plenty of books, board games and a well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are a decent size with comfy beds and being up in the eaves of the thatch are quiet and cosy. Outside there’s a large courtyard and to the side a little garden that was perfect for catching the evening sun and watching the sunset. Very easy access to the cafe, shop, pub, beach and coast path. Added bonus of a parking space for a small car. Perfect holiday base and it reminded me of holiday lets from my childhood!

  • "Quirky and quaint cottage."

Fantastic views. Ideally located. Fascinating history. Well equipped. Would recommend with one reservation - access may be difficult for those with mobility problems as small front door with big step down.

  • "A cosy and old-fashioned cottage with some eccentric features but very well equipped, in the centre of this attractive village but very private and peaceful, with the Coastal Path passing the door and a view across the sea to Cape Cornwall - highly recommended."
