  • "Another fabulous stay at Beachview Apartment no 2 This is our 4th visit here and it’s been amazing yet again."

A lovely location & beautiful views over the sand dunes and down to Crantock Beach. Two village pubs plus The Jamjar coffee shop by day and pizza restaurant in the evening are within walking distance. Our favourite destination and we will definitely be there again. ?? We’ve checked on the website for next year’s availability but so far we can’t see any availability ??

  • "Nice Apartment With Issues Arrived at BeachView Apartment 2 on 23."

9.23. 1st Problem - Very Nice Apartment but not the Apartment that we booked. The photos on the website do not relate to Apartment 2. This was pointed out in feedback in May and March 2022. 2nd Problem - Dust on top of the freezer- dishwasher - washing machine that you could write your name in. Dirty milk jug - Dirty draining board mat - Dirty kick boards. Empty packet between dishwasher and washing machine. Overall the living room - kitchen felt very grubby. 3rd Problem - After unpacking left the Apartment to go and get something to eat and realised that the Apartment front door did not lock. 1st phone call to Sykes Call Centre was at 5.02pm when we spoke to them about the door not locking. After our 1st phone call there was a further 8 calls - each call asking us to try different things to try and lock the door (None worked|). No-one was available to come out as the maintenance man was in Plymouth, and was not due back until Sunday. Mandy told us that the maintenance man would be with us first thing in the morning. We barricaded the front door with benches from the dining room so that we could hear if any-one tried to get in during the night. Phoned the Call Centre on Sunday morning at 11.00am and had to explain what had happened the previous day. She transferred the call to ( emergency maintenance man). He suggested using the key we had already tried multiple times. He then said he would contact the maintenance man who was on his way back from Plymouth, and would call us back if he was going to be any longer than 30 minutes. No Call Phoned Call Centre again at 12.07 spoke to Clare and explained again what had happened. She said that Phil had told us he had given us the code to the key box so we could lock the door (Untrue) Martin - the very helpful maintenance man turned up at 12.30 and changed the batteries in the door. We were finally able to begin our holiday on Sunday afternoon after a very stressful Saturday afternoon/evening and Sunday morning. Not a good start to a holiday! • "Yet another fabulous stay at these beautiful apartments."

We stayed here for the first time in May in apartment 6. Got a last minute deal to stay in number 2. As before the apartment was lovely and clean with very comfortable bed. Love the nice touches like all the things you will need for the first couple of days tea, coffee, laundry tablets, and lots more. The views are amazing even from the ground floor balcony. Martin the caretaker is very friendly and happy to help with any queries. Although the prices are sometimes ridiculous in some of the accommodation in Crantock , I find the beach view very good value for money especially considering all the top quality extras you get. Can’t wait for our next visit in September.

The location and the views are superb. Wifi would be good so that all the TVs work. Also, bedside tables in the main bedroom would be very useful. Thank you.

Lovely modern apartment with stunning views. The only negative is no WIFI.

  • "Property was lovely."

Really clean and tidy. I must say the no WiFi became a real issue due to the fact there is no phone signal either on the bottom floor! In all honesty I didn’t even think to check there was WiFi in this day and age, so I certainly will in future. The external door entry system is a major issue! We had people dialling our apartment in the middle of the night. It really would be a good idea to change it to a number that doesn’t begin with one of the apartment numbers, as people never just did it the once! The gentleman working on the property and the one nextdoor though was really lovely and helpful!

  • "It needs to be clear on the website what property you are getting."

The photos don’t relate to the apartment that we had. This wasn’t too much of a problem, but it could’ve been. There is a need for Wi-Fi, especially if you have a need to use a laptop for work. The front door buzzer system is a nightmare to use. As a result our intercom constantly went off as the codes first number is 2. You could do with a door stop between the lounge and bedrooms as the door is too heavy for kids to open. These are only suggestions and they won’t stop us returning to what is a stunning view and lovely property.

  • "We absolutely loved our stay and already plan to return."

We had a fantastic time and the apartment was just perfect. Loved the little touch on arrival with a welcome bag. And it was spotless clean. We met the maintenance guy who was very helpful and friendly as we'd never been before he gave us some suggestions where to go. Nice guy! Only thing I'd say you'd benefit from is WiFi in the apartment. We had an 8 and 12 year old so for them netflicks and phone usage would have been ideal. But all In all fantastic property and location.

  • "The property was very comfortable."

Hot water great -always important to get this right. Heating wasn’t a problem for us but it doesn’t work properly everywhere - some of the controls were on full heat but never actually got there while it her rooms were heated really well and we could turn the heat down to a good level. Someone did come to check and offer help but since the overall heat was fine we didn’t feel the need. There is a desperate need for the beds to have side tables. Wi fi really should be provided because phone signal is very bad there. Overall really nice and comments are there to make the place even better not to detract from a nice stay.

  • "The apartment was very well equipped, comfortable and clean, the view is spectacular."

Although we couldn't fault the apartment the images on the Web site do not correspond to the right apartments so Although we booked No 2 and we got No 2 it wasn't the interior we were expecting.....sort your Web site please.

Thanks for your feedback, we have a photo shoot booked for the very near future to update the pictures for this beautiful apartment. Property Owner

  • "Lovely apartment, very nice welcome pack and very comfortable."

We had a lovely holiday. Apartment is ideally situated for walks and views across the beach. My suggestion for an even better experience would be to add some bedside lamps and Wi-Fi.

  • "A really nice flat, very clean, spacious, comfortable and warm."

The view is outstanding, and loads of lovely walks on the doorstep. The only improvement I’d suggest is some more subtle lighting, especially bedside lights.

  • "The reason for the lower score is the beds."

Whilst beautifully clean the beds were much too hard for both my husband and myself. They were so uncomfortable we found it hard to sleep. I understand that it’s a personal preference and some people will like a hard mattress but this totally spoilt our stay, in fact the nights were so bad we cut our holiday short and returned home for a good night sleep. Other than this the apartment was spotless with comfortable quality furnishings. The view through the doors was exceptionally good. Overall apart from the beds I would recommend.

It was very modern and clean and the area was very quiet. It was in an ideal spot, only a short drive to the beach and easy to reach most locations. Had a great time and would definitely return. Would highly recommended.
