• "The property location is excellent, great garden for dog although weeds, mushrooms etc, coming through on Astra turf No WiFi - this is an essential item and would not have booked if I had known no WiFi."

  It’s a must in this day and age! TV had to be reprogrammed a few times due to poor network connection. Heating is underfloor and took a while to get used to so we had a few cold nights before we were able to get it working. No rugs so cold on feet ! There was plenty of clean towels and bedding and apartment has all resources we needed Disappointed for cost compared to other places we stay (4x a year). This was special holiday and cost a lot more than we normally pay.

• "The location is great and flat is well equipped and comfortable but lack of wifi needs to be sorted out even if there is an extra charge."

  This would stop us returning. The garden needs to be tidied as the furniture was strewn about. We constantly heard footsteps from the flat above and our timber flooring creaked badly you should consider carpet especially in the bedrooms.

• "We had a lovely week in apartment 4 would definitely recommend it and hopefully return."

  First of all check in was really easy, and the view from the apartment is stunning along with the location. We loved the 5 minute stroll to the village and beach and the apartment is well furnished and modern. The only thing I would say is that the outside of the apartment and furniture on the balcony was covered in spider webs. A quick wipe down of the windows and frames, glass balcony panels etc would make it much more inviting. Other than that we loved it.

• "Beautiful apartment with a stunning view!"

  I shall certainly miss watching the sunset from the balcony. We found a nice little welcome pack on arrival. Had a fabulous week and would recommend! Would definitely return. A couple of minor niggles. The floor is really creaky in places, could do with sorting out. A dustpan and brush would be useful to help keep the place clean. Other than that, a perfect holiday base!

• "Fantastic place to stay, well equipped and clean."

  Great views. Some minor feedback, yesterday just needs a little maintenance….The floorboard between the living area and hallway is extremely creaky, not an issue for us - but I’m sure was annoying for the residents below. Additionally, the main entrance door didn’t shut properly and slammed constantly.

• "Great location on North Cornwall coast and loved the views, balcony and Crantock Village."

  Great showers and comfortable beds, would visit again! Check in was poor as code didn't work, help from builder to get in 1st time then used key, some noise from apartment above and dogs mixing in garden, biggest issue was the lack of WiFi and freeview TV only, unreliable. For price point WiFi is a must.

• "Brilliant property location fantastic."

  I no it’s brand new just needs a few extras to finish it of and it will be a cracking holiday home. Coat hooks in the hallway. Stainless steel pans non-stick ones just won’t last they are showing signs of wear now after only a few months. Issues aside can’t wait to return.

• "Apartment 4 adequate for 4 adults and one dog."

  Photos on site showed bigger but had everything we needed. Sofas in the lounge area could be comfier but did not take anything away from a lovely stay. Views amazing. Although Sun does not shine on apartments but only on the garden area. Would be helpful to have instructions for oven and hob as couldn’t get the internet on my phone as no Wi-fi and no signal (EE) however we managed to use oven and hob but just took a while to figure out! No where to hang coats as no hooks anywhere? Beds very comfy and clean. Bathrooms very clean. All comments aside we would definitely return so well worth a stay as beautiful location and amazing views

• "There was a lot that that was right about this apartment-good location, and the view from the back was stunning, the beds were comfortable and the place was spotlessly clean."

  However there are things that let the apartment down. There was a lack of attention to detail; if it was just one thing that would have been OK, but the cumulative effect detracted from the enjoyment of the apartment. The main room was a lot smaller than pictured and the sofas were pretty uncomfortable. There were no instructions for the heating or appliances and having no Wi-Fi and patchy phone connection meant that we could not find them online, as a result, we could not use the hob or heating. We could have done with some coat hooks-there were none anywhere. There were no lamps in the smaller bedroom and the position of the beds meant that the plug sockets were hard to reach. Our apartment was on the first floor and we could hear the neighbours upstairs all the time, so if you were to book here we would strongly recommend booking an apartment on the top floor. Would we stay in Crantock again? Yes. Would we book this property again? No.
