Fabulous views. Mike and Jackie very welcoming. As we were there two weeks, they washed some clothes for us

The property

Enjoying captivating views of the Cornish coast and countryside, the Spyglass Apartment is a self contained part of a large home originally built for a Sea Captain.

This heart-warming retreat is perfect for a couple seeking to explore the glorious coastline of South Cornwall and all of the delights that this picture-postcard village has to offer.

The interior of this delightful hideaway enjoys a traditional styling which is complemented by the quality fixtures to ensure that you and your loved one have a relaxing week-long break.

After an action-packed afternoon, look forward to relaxing into your evening within sitting room, where the electric fireplace offers comfort during a chilly winter’s evening.

Joining the sitting area is the dining table, where you and your partner can tuck into a home-cooked meal whilst soaking up the views over the historic harbour and village of Polperro.

Prepare your evening meals within the well-equipped kitchen, which comes with all the essentials that you will need to cater for yourselves.

Completing the interior is a well-presented king-size double bedroom and a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC.

Continuing to impress is the 1.5 acre garden, where you can roam the lawn, perch on one of the various sitting areas or head to the lawn adjacent to the pond where you can soak up the coastal views with the BBQ sizzling in the background.

If you can tear yourself away from this romantic retreat, explore the winding streets of Polperro, where you will find a superb selection of amenities and the smuggling museum to uncover the village's once thriving centre for smuggling.

Here you will also find a small sandy beach which rests in front of Willy Wilcox's cave, where you will also find opportunities for fishing trips and pleasure cruises.

For those feeling active, the South West Coast Path runs through the village, where you can walk for miles along dramatic cliff tops and sandy beaches.

Spyglass is a delightful base for a refreshing holiday with your loved one.
