Bluebells in the surrounding woods amazing as also were the abundance of spring flowers in the hedgerows. Lodge was clean and the setting quiet and very private. We wish to thank Andy and Jackie who were very friendly and welcoming. Thank you. Reviewed by LeighMay 2019 "Lovely and relaxing place to stay, very secluded and private with good facilities in the lodge." Liskeard is less than 5 miles away for all you grocery and shopping needs. The owners of the property were extremely welcoming and friendly, and they have pigs and goats that are also very children and adult friendly. The ancient woods that the lodges are on the perimeter of is a very nice and peaceful place for a relaxing walk. We will definitely be returning to this welcoming retreat. It was exactly as described in the information, very friendly welcome, very clean and well equipped and very importantly the beds were really comfy! Its a real get away from it all destination, We knew that there weren't any shops close by and came prepared, but with Liskeard a 10 minute drive away with all the large supermarkets it was perfect.
