The owner informed me that she needed to speak to her husband, however we then did not hear anything from her. I would have thought that if an issue was reported to the owner it would be part of the contract with Skykes that they needed to keep in contact.

The cleanliness was not good either - especially due to the current situation I would have expected this to be priority. On arrival I did sweep the whole cottage and wiped all the surfaces as I was not confident that this has been done prior to arrival, for example we found peanuts on the floor a lot of dust and a duty tissue under one of the sofas.
