  • "We have stayed here 3 or 4 times and just used it to relax in the tranquility offered by Inney Vale, we enjoy the property, but:- On arrival, we found no shower upstairs in the Bath nor TV on the Wall, soon realised it has been altered, but you still show the old arrangement, this is very unprofessional and deceiving information for a family stay, the nice big lounge sweet is still shown."

In respects, this property has been downsized.

Hi Thanks for the feedback Barry. We are aware of the discrepancy in photos to what is there, this is an issue with Sykes who haven't updated the photos I've sent even though I've emailed them. All the changes have been major upgrades, including new lounge seating, replaced shower room and refreshed bathroom, all in the last 12 months. Property Owner

  • "A fantastic stay, a lovely cosy property in an ideal location for lots of days out."

The property had everything we needed and the lay out was perfect for our family.

  • "Lovely cottage as expected, we did expect the downstairs bed to be a super king not 2 singles but otherwise that was OK."

The beds downstairs were super comfy, the main upstairs bed was a little hard for us so only managed to sleep a couple of nights upstairs. The lodge behind is really close and unfortunately the family kept waking us up when they kept coming outside for a natter! But I guess they would of thought we were upstairs. Cleaners had done a good job but we did have to hunt for any information pack which was hidden in a draw.can I suggest putting in a welcome pack folder for future guests.once found we could suss out the WiFi as wasn't obvious if capital letters or not! as wasn't obvious. Just little suggestions otherwise a nice homely feel.the kitchen is extremely well equipped. We have stayed at innyvale a few times over the years in different properties,as we like the area.

  • "Location is ideal for peace and tranquillity, whilst still being pretty central to popular tourist places, as well as walks, waterfalls, towns, ports and hidden gems."

The cottage was cosy, clean & well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a choice of games for a quiet night in. The welcome pack was also really welcome after a long journey. The downstairs wet room is great if you have mobility issues and it has plenty of space as well as a stool if you need to sit. Overall, a really lovely place to be stay with all the comforts of home.

  • "Stowe Cottage was everything we would have expected and more!"

So much so, we’ve already booked for this time next year! Beautifully presented, well equipped and very clean… although we were informed of the upstairs shower having a leak, this did not detract from the cottage in any way. Would and have recommended to friends and family. Many thanks

  • "A lovely Cottage to stay in, very clean and comfortable."

Only problem we had was on the 2nd day we discovered that the upstairs shower was leaking into the shower room downstairs down the back wall behind the toilet, we messaged the owner to make him aware and he promptly replied and said he would be down there soon, not sure whether he did come down as we were out sightseeing most of the week, we stopped using the upstairs bathroom all together so only had 1 bathroom to use.

  • "This is the cleanest property we have experienced through Sykes Cottages."

Hardly any cob webs and dust/dirt free under beds and sofas is always a good sign. We were also impressed that the owners allowed for all the essential items needed for the stay. The only negative for us was that we were instructed not to use the first floor shower as they were experiencing leaks and the downstairs shower wet room door would not lock and the drainage was very slow . The shower water pressure had to be reduced or turned off to avoid water entering out. You do have to drive to nearest amenities but overall, we were very happy with the cottage hence the 5 stars awarded.

It is in a quiet location for a relaxing holiday in North Cornwall. It is spotlessly clean and has good facilities.

  • "Lovely cottage on small estate but very rural."

We had an enjoyable holiday made by good weather. For us the location was too remote, which we were aware of but didn't fully appreciate until arrival. The current covid restrictions made eating out difficult as we found restaurants fully booked and not knowing the area we felt unable to do so before going away. Our recommendation to others is to take food with you and top up once out sight seeing, the nearest large supermarket is in Wadebridge or Launceston which are both at least 20 minute drive from cottage. Overall we had a great time and look forward to visiting Cornwall again

  • "Stow Cottage is in a quiet location ideally situated for exploring north Cornwall."

It has everything you need to comfortably stay for a week or more. The downstairs bedroom and wet room would be suitable for people with limited mobility, so could be good for three generational family holidays. We had a very relaxing week and feel refreshed. Thank you.
