(Could have been photocopies that could be disposed of to be COVID safe). The cottage was a good size and comfortable. Accommodation was also good for the dog :-)

Everything we needed. Only down side was we could not regulate the hot water, it was on constantly and boiling . Camelford was 4 miles away has a Spar and Co-op and a lovely park. Try the four seasons cafe lovely breakfast . We enjoyed our week despite the weather being Poor 22-29 May. 2021

The cottage is lovely, had everything that I needed and the area was so quiet and peaceful. Everything is roughly a 20 minute drive away, which isn’t too much of hassle. The cottage was very clean and decorated lovely. I will definitely be booking this place again in the future.

  • "The outdoor space is very small and because it is north facing you do not have any sun."

The microwave did not work, but I suspect the owners did not realise this. On the whole, comfortable, the bedroom could do with more drawer space.

Thank you for taking the time to send in your feedback. The owner has confirmed that the microwave will be checked. Due to limited space, it isn't possible to fit in a chest of drawers in the bedroom. There is a wardrobe with a large shelf and two bedside cabinets with drawers. Property Owner

Although the cottage is dog friendly we were unable to open the back door to let our dog out into the small garden which was not secure enough due to the low fence and gaps where the fence met the ground level in some parts. We would recommend this cottage although it is set in a village with no amenities and you need to drive at least 15/20 minutes either to Boscastle or Camelford. There is a farm shop about a 10 minute drive.

The cottage was ideal for us. Our only disappointment was the distance to any food shops or Restaurants but for a quiet peaceful retreat it was spot on.

Also the blind in the bathroom was covered in black mold which was not ideal - it meant we didn't feel we wanted to touch it so didn't use the blind. The oven set off the fire alarm almost every time we used it which was very irritating! Also, would have been great, in a self-catering place to have a full compliment of kitchen utensils i.e. scissors Also there were no instructions or welcome notes left. We appreciate there might not be a lot to say but basic things like where you take the rubbish, how appliances work, check instructions etc. would have been helpful.

This one unfortunately, the seating was far from comfortable. There were no leaflets or information relating to the workings of any of the appliances in the cottage. The layout of the kitchen in my opinion was incorrect. No work top space and only a draining board to put clean dishes on and no where to stack the dirty ones. Where people had been with their pets, there was still some pet hairs in and on the furniture. And there were some bugs in the bowls in the cupboards. Sorry to leave negative feed back.

The welcome pack was a nice touch. I have nothing bad to say about the accommodation. There is a washing machine in the kitchen which would have been great to use but there was no way of getting the clothes dry ie. a clothes 'horse' or outdoor line.

The drain was gunged up we partially cleared it only for the same to happen again the next day. there were no cleaning products in the property to help with this. Also, had a problem with ants in the living room which we had to deal with. The property was different from the pictures that we had seen prior to booking. Felt that the shutter type blinds were strange, and didnt give it a nice comfortable feel. The place could have been cleaner, cobwebs everywhere, not sure if we were the first occupants this year. None of the ouitside lights worked. No oven glove, and no info on nearby amenities. I did text the owner as we left, highlighting the drain problem and saying that it needed attention, and had she had the decency to reply I would not have filled out this survey. The location was good but there was no info on gear for the tennis courts. Although we were comfortable I would not recommend this property,
