The property

Boscastle 5.3 miles.

Nestled in the small village of Davidstow, in the Cornish countryside, is this superb detached chalet.

Internally, the owner has renovated the property into a stylish and contemporary holiday home for friends, families or two couples to relax and unwind in one of the most popular regions in the whole of England.

Entering the property, you will be greeted to a hallway where you can kick off your muddy boots and hang your coats before stepping into this contemporary dwelling.

Look forward to relaxing in the open-plan living space, with plenty of sofas to curl up and spend the evening catching up with all your favourite shows.

The kitchen has been fitted to a high-standard, showcasing white units and sleek wooden worktops, providing plenty of preparation space.

Gather at the dining table to enjoy your meals over a well-deserved glass of bubbly and discuss the day's events.

Choose from two double bedrooms, both of which have a range of furniture for storage purposes, whilst the family bathroom provides an elegant bath and shower over so you can decide how best to prepare for your day.

Take a refreshing drink out to the enclosed patio garden and simply enjoy the evening sun, or a spot of alfresco dining.

Travel towards the thriving coastline for a range of tourist attractions, including the popular seaside village of Tintagel.

The historic Tintagel Castle is said to have been the birthplace of the legendary King Arthur, set on a rugged cliff-top with glorious views and an abundance of history inside and the Merlin's Cave below the castle.

Alternatively, venture towards St Nectan's Glen, ideal for long woodland walks and for seeing its 60-foot waterfall.

Resting close to Bodmin Moor, you are well-placed for accessing those countryside sights with opportunities for walking, cycling and even hiking.

Woodlands is an excellent choice for two couples or a group of friends seeking an escape to this rural area of Cornwall.
